Etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel, Zimmer sauber, zum Park hin ruhig, Umgebung schön zum Wandern. Halbpension nicht zu empfehlen, bestenfalls Kantinenniveau ( konnte auch durch sehr nettes Servicepersonal nicht ausgeglichen werden).

Die Wander-, Yoga- und Wassergymnastik-Leiterin Cora ist sehr freundlich und unterhaltsam und weiss einfach alles über Oberstaufen...Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, das Frühstückbuffet und das Salatbuffet super. Jedoch das Hauptgangbuffet lässt zu wünschen übrig. Der Fisch ist trocken, der Risotto eine Pappe, das Gemüse kalt. Dafür steht man lange Zeit an und dann wird geschöpft.....es wird alles auf den Teller geworfen.....nicht zu empfehlen...Leider!

Nettes Personal. Beim Frühstück ist noch viel Luft nach oben, was die Wurstsorten angeht. Zimmer 205. Ich weiß nicht genau ob die Zimmer über der Küche liegen, was die Lautstärke betrifft hatten wir das Gefühl , wir wohnen in einer Umzugsfirma. Bis fast 23.00 Uhr nur Lärm. Das war nicht schön. Ansonsten gutes Hotel , natürlich in die Jahre gekommen.Waschbecken Bad Wasserhahn Kaputt, und nicht seit Gestern. Schade .

Die mangelhafte Bewertung vergebe ich hauptsächlich wegen des unmöglichen Zimmers und des damit verbundenen Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisses. Aber auch beim Personal würde ich mehr erwarten. Die Begrüßung bei der Anreise war recht verhalten. Nach dem Bezug des Zimmers ging ich nochmals zur Rezeption und fragte nach einem Zimmer mit Balkon und besserer Aussicht - leider wurde mein Wunsch nicht erfüllt. Das Zimmer lag nach hinten raus, direkt seitlich neben dem Haupteingang mit schrecklichem Blick auf eine Straßenbrücke, Parkplatz und Straße… und das zu einem Preis von 264.-€ pro Nacht! Das Zimmer selbst war auch kein Schmuckstück mit Flecken auf dem Teppich und Sessel. Nicht mal eine Flasche Mineralwasser war gratis!! Badezimmer war einigermaßen in Ordnung. Wir wollten am Nachmittag des Anreisetags noch einen längeren Spaziergang machen und fragten an der Rezeption wo wir denn am längsten Sonne hätten und bekamen nur ein trauriges Lachen zurück mit der Antwort: „Das weiß ich leider nicht, denn wenn die Sonne scheint bin ich hier drin beim Arbeiten“. Erstaunlich gut war der Wellness-Bereich. Mit Kindern und Lärm ist allerdings zu rechnen. Ebenso ok war das Frühstücks-Angebot. Nur gab es keinen Lachs, was ich bei der Hotel-Kategorie auch nicht verstehe. Fazit: einmal und nicht wieder!

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen, aber schön renoviert. Zumindest innen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist toll!
Allerdings fand ich den Wellnessbereich, vor allem den Ruhebereich, lieblos hergerichtet. Helle Lampen, keine Kerzen, keine Entspannungsmusik. Wir haben dann selber für Kerzen gesorgt und Musik übers Handy abgespielt.
