Fantastic stay at Windrose B&B. Excellent hostess and very cosy rooms. Room was very clean and bed very comfortable. Lovely breakfast provided with fresh homemade bread and apple juice. Great recommendations for things to do in the local area - loved the wilderness ocean walk, amazing views! Would 100% recommend and stay again!

We had an excellent 2 night stay with Anna in one of her 4 x beautifully appointed, eco-appropriate rooms, that look out on to the frog pond - offering a cacophony of sounds to go to sleep to. Breakfast was a solid Aussie/German fare, with snacks and drinks available all day, and the occasional other traveller to discuss plans or experiences with. Anna is passionate about sharing information about the region and her interactions with it. Helpful in every way - we'll stay again.

The room is clean and tidy, albeit looking dated; yard and surrounding areas are quite spartan. Anything wanting is compensated for by the admirable service of the host, Anna. Breakfast offering is more than adequate and served with the usual warmth and friendliness.

Uniquely styled with an enviro theme, in keeping with the property's use of solar power and rainwater. Comfy bed and furnishings. Lovely hearing the frogs in the large pond. Great breakfast.

Really nice
Spa was not working which was not ideal but $50 credit for that. The old rooms in the lodge are simply beautiful and the photos in the listing can’t doo them justice. The biggest bathroom we’ve ever seen.

Very quiet room close to Ocean Beach The room was big and the bed was very comfortable. There was a small table and chairs in the corner. Breakfast was nice - fruit salad, cheese and meats, and a cooked breakfast if you wanted it. Instant coffee but no decaffinated option.
