Lights in kitchen didn't work and maintenance staff lied about needing parts. So we had no lights in our kitchen for the entire stay. Floors were dirty. Balcony was filthy. Ants in our room and in our bed. Not enough bedding for fold out couch. Bathroom doorknob was falling off. Counters were sticky. In general the condo was not clean. Couch had stains on it. Debris was under the fold out couch. Leftover food was in the refrigerator. When I mentioned all these things to management not one single issue was addressed our entire stay. As long as you had your back to the room and were looking at the ocean the view was great. Wont stay there again and will make sure my fellow First Responders are warned about this place for our next Firefighter convention.

Very disappointed with stay after hearing how nice the place was from a stay a few years a. All over dirty, stains on furniture, linens, etc.; leftover food in freezer, Lights didn't work in kitchen, ants in kitchen and bedroom, bathrooms outdated, cracks in tubs, lighting fixtures were rusty and bathroom door knob falling off, balcony very dirty. Immediately complained on arrival Thursday. Handyman who didn't speak to us came, looked and left. We ended up buying ant baits and spray and cleaners for room. Issues were never addressed during a 5 day stay. I could deal with the way things may look but not bugs and overall dirty. Management not helpful at all and representation of this place is not accurate. Wish I had taken photos

Our condo was clean, complete with every amenity, and couldn’t have been better. The greatest compliment I can provide is my family is already planning to return. If you desire a first rate oceanfront condo, look no further. We stayed here in early May prior to the tourist season; less congestion and hardly any distractions from the beauty of the ocean .

We recently stayed at the Kasa in Ocean City. The website stated “recently updated” but the only thing updated were the main floors and the coat of paint slapped over the old cabinets. We arrived and the room was very dirty, stains on the linens and shower curtain. Sink and tub were cracked and not clean. The ice maker had been ripped out of the outdated freezer. Furniture and mattresses were old and uncomfortable. We were highly disappointed especially for the price we paid. The only plus about this place was the fact it is in an ocean front building

Booked my condo in September of 2021 thru the Clarion. Property changed hands. Prior and during our stay I felt like Kasa had good communication. We had a 2 bedroom/2 bath condo. the unit was well stocked with kitchen supplies and disposable...TP, paper towels, soap etc. Condo was clean. Condo looked to have fairly new flooring and granite counter tops, but definitely is in need of a redo. Looked old. Slider in living room was almost impossible to open. upon Sundays "checkout" We felt like we left the condo in wonderful shape, we took trash out, all the used towels were put in the tubs . Cleaned refrigerator out leaving only bottled water and a few adult beverages. Loaded and started the dishwasher. We hung the checked out tag on the door Monday I received an email on Monday stating I was being charge $250 for a broken table, picture attached of a broken white table. I quickly replied with we didn't break anything, don't think we even had a white table and maybe they were confusing units. I also called Kasa, but hung up when I was put into a standard loop, but some one called me back anyway. I explained my problem, was put on hold and the pleasant woman said that department was in a meeting, but that they would respond. A short time later I got an email response saying the decision was final and they did in fact bill my credit card. Book with caution...Maybe take photos and or video upon checkin and check out!

Rented through airbnb - this is the review I put on the airbnb site: Ask the specific unit number and ask for photos of the actual unit you are renting - before you go! The photos provided through the Airbnb site are NOT of the unit 1007. I cannot speak for other units in the building - although 1007 has a few similar pieces of furniture, the whole place had a worn out and run down feel. If you expected a lamp over the small table with chairs (the workspace?) - go fish. The bed was not new or as advertised - the label on the mattress was so old it was frayed on the edges! The sliding glass doors were so weather worn and permanently cloudy that you could not see out to balcony. I should not list all the problems, because any one, or only a few may give you the impression that it may be OK to consider. I guess the best warning that I can give is that we checked out within hours and went to nearby Holiday Inn - and were so relieved to see a clean room with a comfortable bed with a sound lock on the door. Even if KASA offered for us to stay the 3 days free - with full refund - we would not have stayed in that unit. Evidence of past break-ins around the door and door frame were enough to make the unit feel unsafe. Anyone can enter off the street - no security of building or elevators or outdoor hallways. Oops, I started listing problems again… Let my quick sampling be a warning - caveat emptor - if KASA is willing to force unit 1007 on unsuspecting renters, this may not be the only bum unit they offer. The photos on airbnb are deceptive. I am surprised they let them list on the site.

We’ve been staying at the Marigot when we take weekend beach trips for a few years now. Nothing beats the ocean front views and convenience of having the beach/pools/restaurants so close to your room. The property switched hands in March of this year and I was a little nervous, but rest assured, the new owners have done a great job. The rooms have been beautifully renovated and are now better stocked with new countertop appliances, dishes, silverware, towels, etc. The room had a Keurig coffee maker and there were plenty of coffee pods and tea. The Kasa virtual front desk was very responsive when we had questions and there are keypad locks for the doors now so you don’t need to keep track of keys. The rooms come with full access to the pools and amenities of the hotel next door too. We had a wonderful time and I’d highly recommend the property.

I read other reviews and was a little nervous, but decided to try here anyway, as we had a dance comp next door. You need to take into account that this is a beach hotel. If you are looking for a 5 star resort, then you will not be happy here. That being said, we stayed end of June 2021 and had a fabulous time! The oceanfront view was amazing! The price can't be beat for that kind of view and beach access, so dealing with an older facility did not bother us. Yes, it is dated, but we did find it clean enough (some attention should be paid to cleaning the windows for the view and updated furnishings/lighter beachy colors are needed, as well as a new vacuum). There was an air conditioner issue one day, but someone was sent up that day to look at it. It did take 3 tries to get extra towels, but right out of Covid they were extremely short-staffed. The staff that was there was pleasant and helpful. I only point these things out because again, this reminded me of a shore place and if you are expecting something else, you will be disappointed. I saw other reviews complaining about loud bar music, pot smell, loud parties, etc. - we did not experience any of that. On the eleventh floor in the middle of the building, the music from the bar was not bad. In fact, it was pleasant - felt like we were on vacation! If you don't want to hear anything like you are on vacation, I would suggest upper floor opposite end from the bar. Indoor restaurant dining was amazing; outdoors not so much -just bar food. But, the limited staff worked hard and did their best. Parking was great (two assigned spots). The elevator was slow, but that's to be expected in the summer at the beach. We did book directly through the Clarion, but friends booked through one of the other vacation sites and their condo was beautiful, updated with a beachy vibe. I am rather picky, but as long as a place is clean, I will find the good things - and there are a lot here. Did I mention the view!!

While I read all the reviews about Marigot Beach Suites, I still decided to take a chance. I was not disappointed. As many have said, while it it not a $500 a night sparkling clean hotel room, it was a spacious comfortable suite with a full kitchen, a bath and a half, washer and dryer, separate bedroom with a king sized bed and a living room with an ocean front balcony that has unobstructed views of the sunrise and ocean. Listening to the waves, watching dolphins swim by and just being able to relax with that view was the best! There was dust, sure. There were minor things that could use some work, sure. Where there some items in the kitchen that I wouldn't use, sure. But overall, the experience was well worth it and I will stay there again and again. It isn't the Clarion, but then again, I didn't pay Clarion prices to have that ocean view. The amenities, the beach and the location were perfect for us to get away from the rat race of daily life. If you are picky, bring your own pots, pans, dishes, linens, towels, mop, vacuum, dusting equipment, etc. I have never stayed anywhere that I did not find something wrong, or not perfectly clean. Again, I will be booking trips to the Marigot Beach Suites for years to come.
