Hyatt Place Ocean City Oceanfront

The hotel was clean and had basic necessities minus microwave. Try to get a room on 5th floor as there is a little inner outdoor patio with table tennis and patio furniture. Parking was a bit difficult for larger vehicles due to narrow driveway.

My family of 4 just got back from a four night stay at this hotel. All in all it was good. Great location, beautiful beach with a lifeguard, room was a good size with a mini fridge and balcony. Some tips though. Parking in the garage or the overflow lot is tough, especially with a large car. The spots are tight and the rows of cars are close together - I found it stressful. Also we drove every day since the distances between the things we wanted to do were far for my kids to walk. Ask to have your room on the south side of the hotel. We were on the north side and there was daily trash pick up - sometimes 2am otherwise 6am - which woke us up. There are only two elevators and they were slow! Lastly there really isn’t an entrance into the hotel- the only entrance for pedestrians is through the garage, which I didn’t expect for a hotel on the beach. There are chairs and umbrellas to rent in front of the hotel if needed - umbrella was $30/day. We brought chairs so I don’t know the cost of that.

Our room was spacious, despite 2 adults and 2 teenage children we did not feel cramped. Our balcony was not advertised as an ocean view, but we did have a wonderful view of the ocean. The hotel looked and smelled clean. Everything was kept tidy, and we always seen people working hard to keep it that way! There were flies in the lobby, but flies do what they want. The property looked and felt very clean despite the flies. Breakfast was great! Our daughter has Celiac disease and follows a strict gluten free diet. She was able to have eggs and the meat option. We were unable to find any details on the breakfast potatoes, so she did not try them. She also was able to have a bowl of fruit and yogurt. There were individual bowls of cereal, but unsure of any of those options were gluten free. It was all very delicious.

This hotel had a perfect location and was very clean! My overall experience was very pleasant and I would definitely stay here again.

This is the only hotel in OC that delivered what was advertised. Clean, great breakfast, nice view and friendly staff.

The hotel was clean, staff was extremely friendly and greeted you every time they saw us. They are pet friendly and loved seeing all the furry paws walking with their humans lol they offered them treats and water at the entrance. Breakfast everyday was included and they served a hot breakfast option which included scrambled eggs, potatoes, and alternating days between sausage links or sliced sausage with your choice of pancakes or french toast strips. Clean towels daily and trash removal was daily from rooms. You were also able to have tea, coffee, hot chocolate 24/7 at the dinning area since they served it all day. There were other options for you to purchase as well and staff was always there to assist you. Thank you for such an awesome hotel experience.

Great place to stay, NEW! NEAT and clean! Beach is below your balcony. Staffs are friendly, will come back again.
