Staff is friendly and greets you with a warm welcome. The property itself is well kept. The rooms are comfy.

Great location. 5 min to the beach. Late night food options within 2-5 minutes. Hot water, decent water pressure. Updated rooms, will stay again in the future.

I arrived late but customer service is really good very friendly the rooms are clean I just didn't like they had a refrigerator but no microwave so it was a point of having a refrigerator if there's not a microwave inside the room other than that it was it was good it was quiet

- stayed 4 nights and never had room service. Garbages over flowed. - a room for 4 only had 3 towels, they never came to give new towels, we had to ask for them - bed sheets were stained and didn’t appear washed from previous people - sink wouldn’t drain - no fan in bathroom - we had two rooms, one had a microwave and one didn’t - non smoking rooms but smokers hung out by doors each night and smoked - vending machine room is locked tell 9AM each day with no key access… people who need this are usually up early and gone before then - the linoleum floors felt so gross we had to wear shoes the entire time in doors - toilet paper is so thin is felt like the same stuff RV’s use - phone didn’t work. I needed that to call the front office to ask for towels… Yes, we got the cheapest place we could find in the area but there are some things you would expect better, even from the cheapest places. Would highly recommend NOT staying here. If you have to pay a little more, it’s worth it.

This was the first time I ever stayed at a Motel 6. I was looking for a hotel in the area of an event I was attending. If you're coming off the 5, if you blink you'll miss the entrance. First impression, not a bad looking building, but desperately in need of a fresh coat of paint. I was able to check in a teeny early (check in is at 3). Sam checked me in. My room was generic. You get a bed and a bathroom....that's pretty much it. I had to mess with the TV to get it to work, but they have COX cable stations. Toiletries: you get 2 thin wrapped bars of soap....that's it!! No shampoos, conditioners, body wash, you don't even get a box of tissues. So I'll tell you what you do get: a couple towels, the bars of soap, and toilet paper. Motel 6 is basically the Spirit Airlines of hotels. You also don't get an iron, ironing board, or hair dryer!! I even tried to call up front to see if they have hair dryers, and even though there's a phone in the room, there was no cord connecting the phone to the wall!! It's basically a prop! There is a fridge and a microwave, but the fridge, even though was plugged in, was not working. So the fridge was just a prop as well. That was in room 209. I'm pretty sure the microwave worked. I stopped by the front desk to see if they had hair dryers and he said, "Motel 6 doesn't have hair dryers"....like as a company policy?? But the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was remarkably clean. And even though I've read past reviews about homeless druggies in the parking lot, personally I never saw any. And the people staying there seemed like decent people enjoying the pool. It was a walking distance away from the main Oceanside *****, so you can walk to the beach and not have to deal with he crazy weekend parking situation. Also my sleep quality was remarkably good. That's all I needed, an ok place to rest. Would I stay at a Motel 6 again? In a pinch, I would. It's affordable in comparison to those beachfront hotels. But just remember to bring your own everything!
