The room was spacious and as clean as any hotel room I have ever been in. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The bed was comfortable. The Inn has golf carts available for daily rental. There is a restaurant next door that is a great breakfast place. We would not hesitate to return to this Inn.

This was our second time staying at the Pony Island Inn. Excellent customer servce from Kim and Roger as they made our checkin and checkout easy. Our room was very clean. Great restaurants within walkng distance from the Inn. Enjoyed our stay.

Such a great place to stay! Located in the best location, within walking distance to so much. Views were gorgeous from our room and we spent an afternoon just sitting on the porch in the sun while our toddler napped. We had full access to the living room space and kitchen, while she slept in the bedroom. Perfect family getaway. We loved our stay and would recommend it to everyone, especially those with toddlers and babies who might be nervous about accommodations. The banker pony suite was perfect! You can't get more authentic Ocracoke than the Pony Island Inn.

This one is a family favorite, but can be hit or miss. The rooms overlooking the pool in building 1 provide a dramatically different experience than those in building 2. We prefer the former. We love this place regardless, and the nearby diner offers the best breakfast within 60 miles!
