The View Odawara

The hotel maintained close communication with me throughout the visit and responded quickly. Even though I couldn't check in on time, they provided a convenient way to retrieve my room key and reserved a parking space for me. The room facilities were satisfactory and very clean. Having a washing machine was a major advantage, and the location was excellent. The only drawback was the lack of space in the room for hanging clothes. There were absolutely no hooks or other hanging pipes in the room or bathroom, which was very inconvenient. I also suggest that the kitchen provide more tableware and cooking utensils for my use.

Odawara isn't very big, and the hotel, located on the way to Odawara Castle, was very easy to find. Although it's a guesthouse, the room was cleaner than we expected, which was excellent. Most importantly, it was great value for money.

The hotel is a small one-bedroom apartment, fully equipped with a washing machine, stove, microwave, and refrigerator. It takes about six or seven minutes to walk from the hotel to Odawara Station, and there are many good restaurants along the way. Odawara Castle is not far from the hotel, and you can climb to the top of the castle tower for a panoramic view. Choosing this hotel was the right decision when visiting Hakone.
