In der Kombination aus traditionellem Brauhaus und modernem Hotelanbau, das sogar mit einem Architekturpreis ausgezeichnet wurde, sehr interessant und in guter Lage. Wir haben mit einer kleinen Gruppe Abends im Restaurant gegessen und ich muss sagen, dass das wirklich eine Enttäuschung war. Insgesamt lieblos - die Gerichte, bei denen man nichts falsch machen kann wie gemischter Salat oder Wurstsalat waren normaler Standard, meine Lachsforelle - ein Ministück auf einem Kürbis/Rote Beete Gemüse von undefinierbarem Geschmack, darauf trockene Salatblätter. Ein zimmerwarmes Glas Grauburgunder. Und so weiter. Die Biere waren wohl lecker. Und der Service freundlich. Ausser einer kleinen Hochzeitsgesellschaft war kaum jemand da, und das spricht ja auch Bände an einem lauen Freitagabend. Ich fand es sehr schade, ein so schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis vorgefunden zu haben, vor allem, weil ich mich sehr auf den Abend gefreut und mir irgendwie etwas Besonderes erwartet hatte.

Dem Weißwein hätten kühlere Temperaturen gut getan. Das kleine Stückchen 'Schwäbischer Zwiebelrostbraten" war nicht genügend gereift und sicherlich nicht "vom Metzger des Vertrauens". Es erinnerte an Metro Ware. Bei der Sauce hätte die Küche mehr Kreativiät zeigen können. Als Reinfall entpuppte sich das "Schnitzel Braumeister Art". Für nahezu 20 € darf der Gast hier eine andere Qualität erwarten. Serviert wurden 2 dünne, kleine Schnitzel. Die Panade war nicht fluffig, sondern bretthart. Vielleicht liegt darin der Pfiff der Braumeister Art. Jedes Fertigschnitzel aus der Kühltruhe des Supermarktes hätte qualitätiv mithalten können. Spedel's Schnitzel erinnerte an ein Convenience Produkt. Zu guter Letzt: Der Innenhof ist ein schöner Ort, um bei Speisen und Getränken den Sommerabend ausklingen zu lassen. Ob hierzu ein Feuerkorb notwendig ist, der bei entsprechender Windrichtung die Gäste einräuchert, wäre zu überdenken.

Seems strange to have a hotel in a brewery but somehow it works! Room was a bit small but clean and the layout made the most of the space. Staff were all super friendly and most of them spoke good English. Breakfast was excellent, quality of everything on offer was top notch. Dinner was also very good albeit relatively pricey with some interesting dishes. Beer was really nice (as you would expect) and so was the wine.

Wir hatten mit unseren Freunden ein tolles Wochenende bei Speidels. Das Essen war hervorragend und die Mitarbeiter alle sehr freundlich und flott. Ich kann das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen. Preis-Leistung stimmt.

Wir hatten einen Schaden an unserem Fahrzeug und konnten am nächsten Tag, am geplanten Cabrioausflug unserer Gruppe nicht teilnehmen. Die Inhaberin hat uns einen schönen Tag organisiert, mit den Hoteleigenen EBikes + Rucksack + Landkarte, Regenjacke und on Top noch ne Radlerhose der Chefin dazu. Super nett ! Frühstück und Abendessen 4 von 5 Punkte
