Boutique Splendid Hotel

I'm a bit torn. The room was clean and the furniture in good condition, the bathroom was new, big and clean. The staff was very friendly. The location is good, bus stop (409 to the airport) and pedestrian zone in front of the door. But - the information on platforms like ebookers, tripadviser and *********** is outdated and NOT correct, the management has changed and has deteriorated quite a bit. It takes away from the previous good rating. We did NOT receive what we had booked through the hotel website. No "seating area with sofas", no "bathtub" and we still paid for the expensive version. We had to ask for kettles and cups, and they were not in the room either. The hotel has NO gym, NO restaurant and NO free breakfast, it is NOT handicapped accessible, NOT wheelchair accessible, you definitely cannot get into the room with a wheelchair, stairs to the lobby, again to the elevator, from the elevator to the room more stairs. The hotel is NOT pet friendly, only dogs up to 3kg are allowed LOL. The breakfast room is a mystery to me. In 10 days it was open once and there was only one woman sitting in it, even though the hotel was full (we had the room next door). Otherwise the room was closed. The air conditioning in the room was very loud because 2 of the 3 openings in the ceiling were not working, and the third opening was pushing air out very loudly. I was unable to sleep. Turning off the AC and opening the window was also not possible because it was very loud outside. The new management urgently needs a new website so that guests are not seriously misled. The bottom line is that you are left with the stale feeling of having been cheated.

Facing the Verna Orthodox Church, the view is beautiful both during the day and at night. The hotel staff are very friendly and polite. I was very relaxed when I checked in. I also witnessed the ceremony of the Army Day, which was very interesting. Good location and good service

Usually we try to choose hotels of at least 4 stars, but since we were traveling with a dog, there wasn’t one for us in Varna. The hotel, however, turned out to be beyond our expectations. Spacious rooms, decoration and furniture are not the latest, but everything is clean, neat and in good order. Removed a star for lack of breakfast. Still, a 3-star hotel should have its own breakfast, albeit a modest one. Moreover, there are no places nearby where you can eat in the morning, at least we didn’t find any. When you have a family with children, the lack of breakfast is, of course, very inconvenient :( Well, there is a kettle, sugar, tea and coffee in the room. We bought bread, milk, cheese and ham from the store in the evening and had breakfast in the room. But cups for tea very small, although nice. It would be nice to replace them with more spacious ones. Otherwise, there are no complaints about the hotel, it’s a good option, I recommend it to everyone.
