Ein super tolles Hotel, gleich am Empfang wird man herzlich empfangen. Die Zimmer und Arrangements sind sehr empfehlenswert. Wunderschön die Geschichte des Hauses und moderne Architektur zusammengebracht. Dazu ein phantastisches Restaurant und super Frühstück… Eggs Benedict Ganz köstlich

Die Location ist einmalig. In dem alten Gebäude wurde auf sehr moderne weise ein äuerst luxuriöses Ambiente geschaffen.
Die Zimmer haben eine tolle Aufteilung und individuelle Kunstgegenstände.
Das Hotel Liberty kann man nur jedem empfehlen.

Fascinating hotel, beautifully converted. Fabulous restaurant and terrific service. Lovely big room with view over park (try and stay in these rooms if you can). Only negative comment is, for a such a large room and bathroom, please design some bathroom bench space, guests have more than a toothbrush.

A former historic prison decommissioned in 2009 this hotel provides an outstanding experience standing out in the area. Very upscale. Dining and bar are excellent. And doors open from both sides! - their tagline. You learn a lot about the failed 1848 revolution trying to install democracy.

This a beautiful hotel with creative, very modern accommodations. It has been fully restored from an ancient prison, and there are humorous reminders that once upon a time, you did not have the liberty to leave. A tiny toy mouse on the bed is there to share any bread crumbs. The gourmet restaurant is amazing. The staff is cheerful and welcoming.

Wir sind mehrere Paare, die sich mehrfach im Jahr zu kulinarischen Events und Weinproben treffen. Unsere Wahl war auf das Hotel Liberty gefallen. Wie hier bereits mehrfach beschrieben, ist der Umbau von einem ehem. Gefängnis in ein Hotel sehr gelungen. Die Zimmer sind groß und luxuriös ausgestattet. Leider hat das versprochene Wasser im Zimmer gefehlt. Aicj war der Aperol Spritz auf der Terrasse nicht gut. Viel Eis, viel Aperol, viel Wasser, wenig Prosecco. Das Menu war mit Ausnahme des Nachtisches ( der Ofenschlupfer war völlig trocken und zäh ) ausgezeichnet! Die Weinkarte ist klein und für das gebotene sind die Weine zu teuer. Wir hatten einen 2018 Merlot bestellt und bekamen kommentarlos einen aus 2022 hingestellt. Als wir die Bedienung darauf hinwiesen wurde uns gesagt, dass die Weinkarte noch nicht aktualisiert sei. Also wußte sie ganz genau, was sie uns da brachte. Das geht bei dem Anspruch des Restaurants gar nicht. Leider hat unsere Kritik dazu geführt, dass die Freundlichkeit der Dame für den Rest das Abends sehr abnahm. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig, die Eierspeisen werden á la minute zubereitet und die Damen, die uns bedient haben, waren ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Das Designhotel "Liberty" liegt in Offfenburg am Tor zum Schwarzwald. Das Hotel war 1840 als Gefängnis gebaut und wurde erst in der Neuzeit "umgewidmet". Letzteres geschah offensichtlich mit viel Geschmack und Geschick sowie hohem finanziellem Einsatz. Die Zimmer sind sehr pfiffig designt und möbiliert. Die Küche und auch der Service sind ganz hervorragend. Das Personal ist zudem sehr freundlich und flink. Das Hotel liegt am Rande der hübschen Innenstadt und alles ist fußläufig erreichbar - auch der Bahnhof, von dem aus man Orte wie Straßburg, Baden-Baden oder den Schwarzwald auch ohne Auto bequem erreichen kann. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner und zudem witziger Urlaub der etwas anderen Art. Gerne wieder!
