The Sherman Inn is a fantastic place to stay! The building itself is so interesting, and the room was outstanding. Absolutely enormous! The beds are very comfortable. The bathroom wasn't fancy, but it was clean and perfectly suitable. The breakfast we enjoyed was delicious -- bacon, French toast with local maple syrup, and fresh fruit. I would love to stay here again if I am in the area.

Very cool and quirky hotel built inside an old elementary school. Huge rooms and friendly and helpful owners. Tons of local history stuff here too all around and built into the inn's decor. Yummy breakfast with real local maple syrup

The B&B is a hidden gem rich in history itself, once being a local schoolhouse it housed many a story and Jim is certainly eager to share all his information with listening guests!! The bedrooms still had the original chalkboards and were named after visiting presidents to the area. Rooms were immaculate, beds plush and comfortable, breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the building super clean! I am not sure about an elevator to the second floor, but the steps are worth every inch!

I have stayed at the Sherman Inn several times and have had a wonderful stay every time. From the very first visit, we were hooked!!! My husband passed away in July of 2023. Myself, my daughter and my granddaughter stayed over the Chris**as holiday. Although it was a difficult time for us, we felt such a peace and tranquility at the Sherman. Jim & Donna made us feel as though we were among family. They are so welcoming and always accommodating. I highly recommend a stay in this beautiful place and with these wonderful people.

The most unique place I’ve ever stayed at: an old school converted into a bed and breakfast. Owners are very nice and knowledgeable about the town history. Rooms are spacious and the breakfast excellent.
