Time Out Hotel

On arrival i had problem with incorrect bed size as per my reservation. The gentelman in reception and the gentelman who show me the alternative rooms were very kind and caring. Some more issues happened to: such as giving the wrong card for the room, had to come back and fix again. Dirty towels left in the room, fixed quickly. No water was available, that was fixed too. Although it sound bad, It did not bother me much. They were quick on actioning. Then, i have been told there were a mistake for the room again, i actually had the correct room reserved for me from the begining. But i was happy with the room i had, so, i did not change it. One thing i can say the water does not have enough pressure in the tab and shower head. These were some negative parts. Besides these, hotel generally very clean, AC working well, no flies or bugs or mosquitos. I would recommend this hotel for all, only possible registeration issues you might face.

Lovely small hotel, friendly receptionists, Great little pool (approx 15m x 8m) 75m across the road from the beach, 7mins walk to the Gap where there are loads of great restuarants and bars, although there a bars with food under 1 minute away 🩷🩷 Ignore the Negative comments, some people just love to moan !

Before arriving at Time out I was worried after reading some of the reviews. However, I had no need at all to be worried. Time out is in the perfect location. The hotel is clean and staff helpful. Our room was cleaned daily and fresh towels provided daily. The pool was lovely and we had no issues with noise. We only had breakfast one time and it was good quality. We were so pleased with Time out that I am booking with them again next year. Please do not be put off by a few bad experiences, this hotel is a perfect budget hotel.

I had a staycation booked for my daughter's birthday so as it was a celebration my 1st question was a birthday plate or any celebration that can be done for the birthday girl. My first disappointment was front desk telling me they don't know and they would have to check as the hotel is owned by someone else and the restaurant has a different owner. Checked into My room, I had a pool view so that was a plus to my daughter. I called Amigos to ask about the birthday plate for my daughter once again the girl said she doesn't know and I told her to ask management. She then came and said yes they do however the hotel is full and it is short notice . I had to ask how is it short notice when I only arrived and checked in today. This service is very different from what I have seen and know from other sister hotels. However when going to the pool I never saw anyone or was never told where I could get my towels for the pool from besides the ones assigned to my room. On my way to my room I asked house keeping while she was in the stairway for fresh towels she asked my room number I told her 320 she then gave me directions to my room which I knew where it was already but never received the towels. Let's not talk about breakfast. My 1st day on breakfast there was scramble egg, fry egg, mushrooms, sausage and I'm not sure if it was mini pancakes or bakes as there was no signage to tell you what was being served. The whole breakfast was dry and displeasing. However on my last day which was Tuesday breakfast had a few more items and a bit better just instead of having glasses to drink from we then had to go to the bar for plastic cups. Time out was a 1st and definitely a last for me and with poor breakfast options I ventured outside for my other meals. Staff could be a bit more pleasant but as my daughter is still a child she give you guys a thumbs up for her pool time.

After small teething problems that were immediately sorted we had an amazing time at Time Out Hotel The management are so professional Immediately responding to any problems The house keeping staff do an amazing job also. Room cleaned to a very high standard every day with clean white fluffy towels Nothing is too much trouble Our room was quiet overlooking the playing fields,lovely to see local children and adults playing sports Beautiful Dover beach just across the road Great local restaurants over the road. More expensive restaurants further down the gap It's good to have a choice of restaurants. Already planning to come back Thanks once again to you all! The only one thing to say is that the rooms could do with fresh paint We appreciate this is difficult as they are open all year round We are already planning our return!

Before we went, we read the reviews from others and got a bit worried, regarding the music, no toilet paper, cleanliness of the room. We can absolutely 100% say our stay was great. Yes, they had music tues/wed/sat and Sunday nights karaoke, and was a little load, but never went on until the early hours, I would say normal pub hours. We had fun and joined in some of it. The toilet roll saga, we had plenty everyday, the room clean, tidy and had clean sheets and towels everyday. The beach towels you ask for as they are behind the reception. All I can say is, do not go on everybody's reviews other wise it would spoil your trip. We went after reading them and had a fantastic time and would definitely book again. Some staff were grumpy but the majority especially Shawn the barman/ breakfast guy was great and helpfulness. The receptionist staff were helpful in organising car hire and trips. Overall the hotel was a great place to stay and close to the beach. Plenty of places to eat, drink and get very drunk around the area. Very friendly all round

Just returned from a week's stay following a cruise. The hotel is in a great location just across the road from the beach. The room was lovely and plenty of storage space. The pool area was great and there was never a problem getting a sunbed. We had breakfast in Amigos every morning, the only thing I would have liked was a coffee machine instead of a jar of coffee and a hot water machine. We also had dinner a couple of times and the fish cakes were fantastic. Would definitely return again.

The stay at this property has met my expectations, and was a lovely one, from check-in to check-out, upon entering my room, housekeeping was putting the final touches in getting it ready, and I was able to relay to her I like my beds convert as one, as they're usually separated, her and the luggage assistant guy quickly get it sorted right away...well done to them both, nice linens and bed made for a comfortable rest, the room was clean and smelt refreshing and nice, the amenities in room was a nice touch, from the coffee/tea station with a kettle plus complimentary waters, I made good use of both and enjoyed. The room felt comfortable and roomy, from the vanity space in the bathroom to the nice big shower stall, the in room safe and mini fridge was an added bonus, I was able to keep my waters chilled. The few downsides was the location of my room which was above the bar downstairs, it can get loud especially on the weekend, my window was facing the opposite side of the road, which has a playing field and hardcourt, which the locals in the area used, can get noisy, and frustrating if you're trying to take a nap in the evening before dinner. The restaurant on location, didn't seem to have much of what I wanted, so I didn't patronized them, although my room was booked with breakfast included it was not honored, and almost felt like the staff at reception was trying to deter me from having it, by saying my reduced rate does not qualify me for the breakfast, my loyalty status from my booking website offers discounts on hotel stays to their members, I didn't made a fuss, just accept it for what it was..however it was an enjoyable stay at Time Out Hotel, and would recommend to clients..I'll definitely stay here again.
