Second, the location is good. There is no problem with walking to Oita Station in ten minutes. There is an entrance and exit on the roof to connect to the Qilou Commercial Street. So even if it rains, you don't need an umbrella. In addition, there are many shops you need to go to on weekdays such as convenience stores, coffee bars, supermarkets and so on. It is also very close to Kyoto Street. I stayed here for three nights on a business trip. I will book this hotel again if I have the opportunity to come back.

From the north exit of JR Oita station, walk to ”Chuo Dori Street” for about 10 minutes, mymelo bank... When you walk to the main store of Oita bank, you can see the hotel signboard. I booked a single room because I was traveling alone, but I was upgraded to a double room on the 9th floor, which was wide and relaxing despite the weekend. There was a large bath and restaurant on the 10th floor of the top floor, and breakfast was full of Japanese food from 6:30, and the chicken heaven of Oita specialty and ”fry from Nakatsu” were received from the morning. The rice was ”Hinohikari” from local Oita, but it was as delicious as ”nanaboshi” in the hotel in Hokkaido (Kushiro / Shiretoko Shari).

The room is clean and hygienic, the environment is good, and the service attitude is good. There are large shopping malls and art galleries nearby. It is also convenient for fun and food. It is about eight minutes' walk from Oita Station. There is a large supermarket at the JR station.

The location is good. It's a little bit of a walk from Oita Station, but it's tolerable. When I checked in, I had to wait about 20 minutes because the cleaning hadn't been finished yet. The breakfast was delicious.

The Beppu Hotel I stayed at for the second time was very close to Kitahama and within 10 minutes of Beppu Station. There are also large supermarkets, bamboo tile hot springs and other facilities nearby. It is a relatively large old-fashioned hot spring hotel. The price is not expensive. The facilities are a bit old, but the service is very good. The front desk and hotel staff will smile and say hello every time. You will be very comfortable during your stay. In addition, if you need to take a bus to Jigoku Onsen or Yufuin, please note that the bus station number on Google Maps may be wrong, so be sure to confirm it at the station before getting on the bus.

We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Service was very good. Parking was an extra 550 yen per day. Breakfast was Japanese style but did include a bacon and egg cooked in front of each guest with the small Japanese hotpot. Our room fit 3 adults was very nice with clean modern amenities consisting of one room with two single beds, and a sizable living room with futon in the evening for the third bed. Nice view of Beppu tower in our room. Hotspring outdoor was totally enjoyable with a view of the sunrise and the Beppu Bay. Gotta be careful though because for ladies, someone in a boat at the bay might be able to see our naked upper bodies with telescope if we stand up.😅

I spent my first two hours doing what I haven’t done for almost three years, driving along the snaking roads in Japan. Arriving at Amane Seikai you feel euphoric, the seafood kaiseiki wasn’t the best, but the sake was good, and I was still giddy from seeing the spacious (1776 sq feet) junior suite with its own ocean view pool, jacuzzi, open-air onsen bath. “Room” 230 is in the new wing (according to my booking.com description), the apartment/room is not especially stylish, except for one little bottle of water and some coffee/tea, the mini bar and fridge were empty, but it has a spectacular view and you’ll still get your ocean view from bed and feel the constant gravitational pull of your private open-air onsen. I got up at 6ish just to catch the first rays of sunlight and to listen to the sound of the waves. Last but not least, the staff that checked me in was really nice and spoke perfect English ( coz he is from Nebraska ☺️)

By the way, there is no toilet on the 2nd floor, so this is quite troublesome. The room is new so it is large and clean. I think the view on the sea side is good, but that's a consultation with your wallet. I went to the bath from the morning the next day. It was around 6:30, but it was a reasonable entry. It seems that it is crowded if it is late. Breakfast starts at 7:30. The receptionist at check-in asks you the start time, but unlike dinner, it is not an hour system, so if you go at 8:30 or so, you will have a restriction on admission. The staff was also concerned about that area, and the table was about to be cleaned up when the bride & younger child was going to the toilet, and the older child and I were going to pick up dessert. There are some types of buffets that cannot be compared with eating at once in a mix of Japanese and Western styles. There are raw fish and some types of grilled fish are also served at the table. This was delicious. I mean, everything is delicious. Around the lobby on the 1st floor, there is a drink bar in the evening bathing space, and there is a coffee machine in the playroom, which is generous. There is also hell steaming, where you can enjoy plum wine or shochu, so even those who do not eat can enjoy it. Still, I think that eating can enjoy this place. Also, if you stay at peak time, you may be vacant and satisfied if you take early action (evening bath, morning bath, breakfast). I stayed with a lot of children. This time I stayed in combination with Harmony Land (if you go the next day, turn left and turn U). There are many rooms as it is, so it may not be suitable for those who want the quietness of adults. It may be good for a lively but OK group, a group that likes alcohol.
