It's unfortunate, but we felt extreme disappointment with the experience my family and I had during our recent stay at this hotel. As Platinum Elite members, we have come to expect a certain level of service and accommodation, particularly upon arrival, but our most recent visit fell far short of even the most basic expectations. Despite our loyalty and frequent patronage, upon arrival, there was no acknowledgment of our Platinum Elite status. This lack of recognition was disheartening, to say the least. Even the lowest tier of Bonvoy hotels has treated us incredibly upon arrival, unlike this hotel. Furthermore, the issues we encountered with our room were simply unacceptable. The fact that the door was propped open upon our arrival raised serious security concerns, particularly as I was traveling with my wife and two daughters. It was unsettling to say the least, and I had to thoroughly inspect the room before allowing our family to enter. Moreover, the room lacked basic amenities that were advertised and expected. The absence of a microwave, despite your hotel's own promotional materials depicting otherwise, was a significant inconvenience, particularly when we had purchased food that required heating from the front desk, as the clerk should have told us afterwards. When we went back downstairs to use the microwave she made it sound like we should have known that (when, like I said, the promo photos show microwaves in the rooms). Additionally, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired, with hair found in both the bedding and towels. The discrepancy in bed sizes was another frustrating aspect of our stay. We specifically booked queen beds, as we do at home, only to find that the beds provided were far from queen-sized. Even simple requests, such as bathroom toiletries, were met with inefficiency and delay. It took a call to the front desk to have these brought to our room, which was an unnecessary inconvenience. The lack of concern and indifference displayed by your staff when we raised these issues was perhaps the most disappointing aspect of all. Despite our efforts to bring these concerns to your attention, it was evident that our feedback fell on deaf ears. Overall, our experience at your establishment was deeply disappointing, and it pains me to say that we will not be returning. As loyal patrons, we expected better treatment and service. It is my sincere hope that you take this feedback seriously and take steps to improve the quality of service at your establishment.
