I stayed here for my 3 months at the academy (August-November 2022), and I'm happy to say I had a great experience! If you're an ATC student, you need to stay here... seriously. I remember my head spinning while trying to find a place in OKC, but I really made a good choice with this hotel. Pros: Good amenities. Free laundry, a pool, hot tub, housekeeping, gym. A big plus is that there's free dinner on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights. Don't expect anything too extravagant, but it's free. Not a lot of hotels do this, and you will appreciate it while you're at the academy. They also have free breakfast every day..and it's not just cereal and prepackaged muffins. I'm talking sausage, waffles, eggs, biscuits, fruit, etc. They also have coffee available pretty much all day. The staff was great and the room was just what I needed. There's also a nice area downstairs where you can do study groups. Location is good.. 10 minutes from the academy and about 10 minutes to an area with a Walmart, shopping places, and lots of food choices. Cons: Not a lot to say here, honestly. The only thing is OKC's homeless problem. There's a walking/biking trail right next to the hotel that the homeless like to hang out around. I had 2 jackets stolen out of my car, but at least my window wasn't broken. Someone who parked next to me did have their window broken, though. Basically, don't park on the side of the hotel and make sure you lock your doors. Unless you're the type of person that needs a roommate, you need to stay here. I don't really get the appeal with some of the more popular places like Kim's place and crashpads. Why risk a bad roommate when you can have your own room for the same price? Best of luck!

I stayed in the area for work for approximately 3 weeks. During that time I was overcharged for my stay and had my vehicle broken into. According to local law enforcement, they have been summoned to the hotel 14 times in the 6 weeks for break -ins. The hotel accepts no liability and will not, as encouraged by law enforcement, install video surveillance for the exterior of the building. How many OTHER guests will be vandalized?!? If you are staying over a weekend, good luck getting near the pool. It appears the ”for registered guests only” signs do NOT apply unlike the ”we accept no liability for theft or damage to your vehicle” signs. If IHG cares about the safety of their guests, as they claim, invest in cameras for cripes sakes!! I did happen to score one of 6 poolside loungers on an early Sunday morning. However, the smell of raw sewage and little water bugs invading the pool made for a quick exit. As for the complimentary guest laundry, only two out of four washer and dryers were operable for the entire hotel. Apparently they are waiting for parts, and have been for over 3 months, according to one guest. Maybe just replace them? The weekly happy hour has done away with complimentary beer or wine. Food was...meh. Not even sure what some of it was. I travel 80% of the year for my job and pretty much live in hotels. This Staybridge doesn't appear to care about their guests' experience whatsoever. So much to be improved upon!

We recently stayed for one night at this hotel and enjoyed our stay. The entire property was spotlessly clean, updated, modern and comfortable. Our king room was very spacious and our bed was super comfortable. Loved the Dove products in the bathroom. The location is on the outskirts of Bricktown, but an easy walk to the restaurants. One perk was the free parking, which I didn't see offered at any of the other Bricktown hotels. There is a train that goes directly past the hotel and when it does, it is loud. But it didn't happen too often. During our stay, I think it passed once in the early evening and then once again in the morning, around 8:45 am. Not too early. There were horrible storms and tornado warnings the evening we were there, which made us, being from the northeast, a bit nervous, but the gentleman at the front desk told us what the emergency plans were in case the sirens went off indicating a tornado in the vicinity. Fortunately, the downtown area was not affected. We were very appreciative of his helpfulness.
