The price was good in terms of performance, except that the sea was very stony and wavy.

Clean, tasty, shops and markets everywhere. 6 swimming pools, 3 jacuzzis, two zones: a loud one for children at the front of the hotel and a quiet one behind the hotel with access to the beach. Fabulous garden. Nothing else is needed. Recommended for older people and children.

After being put off to start with, with all the negative reviews I can honestly say don’t look too much into it. Myself and my family really enjoyed it. The staff are absolutely amazing and nothings too much for them. Every single one of the staff members are friendly, helpful and actually have time for you. We originally upgraded to sea view room but didn’t get placed there, we ended up over looking the aqua park (no complaints from us) my 2 year old loved looking over the balcony every morning watching people splash. The rooms were clean and cleaned every day if needed. Fresh bedding, fresh towels. The air con worked a treat. The beach is very pebbly but it’s a beautiful beach and a very peaceful sea at times. Lovely night time view when it’s time for the sunset. The pools were nice and fresh to dip into, not cold just the nice temperature to cool down. The only downfall for me as a picky eater is the food. I basically lived off chips or didn’t actually eat at all. If you’re wanting a nice restaurant I’d recommend palm cafe and bar, they also offer pick up and drop off service. Do believe the price of taxi is included in the bill. It’s not actually a far walk but wasn’t too keen on walking through the underpass as it wasn’t lit up. Overall, I’d definitely come back. (100% if the the food was more catered for me) haha.

Firsty this is definitely not a 4* hotel. It is rundown and needs work. Parts of the resort doesnt get maintained. It's the water park and flumes which makes this place earn that title i recon. They are amazing and my teens had a great time every day. The slash park is half broken though. We enjoyed the food even though it was very repetitive and standard. But it was tasty and always hot. The snack bar did the same stuff every day. It would have been nice to see some different options there. The drinks were fine. A good selection. The shop on site is more expensive than the nearest bazzars however if you ask for a good price and be polite then they will take less. They are very friendly people. The staff around the whole site are amazing. Very helpful, friendly and fun. The restaurant manager is great. Every day he made the effort to come talk to us and ask if we were OK and if there was anything we needed. He genuinely cared. My biggest annoyance was the music. It is far too loud from 10am onwards. You literally can not talk to anyone next to you. And they put the music up even louder for the foam party. It was unnecessary loud. We would enjoy the music at a much lower volume. Far too loud for kids ears. We didn't watch the evening entertainment because of this and spent our day time around the relax pool to avoid it too. Not only that, there was about 4 songs that played every day that had swearing in. And speaking to other families they all said the same and had also complained. I did tell the guest relations manager and he said he sorted it but the swearing did continue, even on our last day. We had a superior family room which you pay extra for but they get the worst of the loud music as the entertainment stage is right next to it. So we had to try and keep my 2 year old going until after 10pm when the music finished for her to be able to sleep. Even with the doors closed it didn't make a difference. The room was nice. Was described as luxury but it's just normal for us back in England and what we are used to. If our room was luxury then I dread to think what the rooms were like for the standard family rooms. From looking outside, they have a tiny balconys which you can't even sit on. So we were very grateful for a decent balcony in the superior rooms. Some false advertising on their website and easyjet website. The play park is nothing like pictured. There is no fun fair. The bumper cars are broken and not used even though they are still there. The arcade room, trampolines, survivor park and mini golf is extra charges and all very run down. Highly recommend the spa on site. The guy on reception is lovely and does give you good prices. We had a Turkish bath with scrub and bubbles which was amazing. Then a full body massage. Also included use of the sauna steam and salt room. My recommendation is only take euros here. That's all they want on site and the nearest shops. They don't like lira but will take it if its all you h

I have to say, I don't think this hotel deserves a 4 star rating, the building is a little tired and the food could be better. The staff are great, the water park is fun and some of the entertainment is brilliant. You have to put up with a shower that scrolls through cold to hot every 20 seconds, the fact you're in the middle of nowhere and the menu doesn't alter much during the week but besides that, the place is OK. Would I go there again, probably not.

Absolutely brilliant. Staff are lovely and brilliant with the kids and make sure they are happy every single one of them are friendly.. had a lovely room with the pool side view.. Great size and upgraded for 50 euro which was worth it to have a bigger balcony Food was as you expected. Not great and not poor what you expect for all inclusive. Ice cream available from 12 till 11. Slides are great and keep you kids entertained.. Walking distance from grand bazaar which is where you pick up cheap clothes/trainers.. about 10minute walk.. Seriously recommended and I will be looking at coming back next year

We went as a family of 5: 3 kids and 2 adults. We experienced numerous issues during our recent stay at Club Aqua Plaza. The series of unfortunate events and the hotel staff's inadequate response significantly impacted the quality of our holiday and resulted in various damages and losses. Upon checking into our first room, we discovered that the shower was non-functional. We were then moved to a second room, where the was a poo stain on the floor, when I asked the cleaners to clean it they said that they couldn't. In this same room a fuse sparked, causing a fire! Yes, a fire! Despite the evident danger, the hotel staff were slow to respond, and all our clothes incurred smoke damage. The hotel’s offer to launder a few clothing items and provide an iron was insufficient. We were given a free meal at a café as compensation, which did not address the full extent of our discomfort and inconvenience. The efforts the hotel made to compensate for our horrifying experience of a fire in our room were grossly inadequate. During the move to our 3rd room a staff member stole my daughter's tablet. Again, the hotel staff were unhelpful in addressing this loss. The third room we were moved to was outdated and had numerous issues: The garden door did not close completely and was very stiff to open. There was a sharp edge on the kitchen counter, which tore my husband's clothes. The water from the shower was brown, and the toilet had a permanent stain. Staying in this room was extremely uncomfortable, and it did not match the quality of the accommodation we had paid for. We were eventually moved to a fourth room for the final three nights of our stay, totaling four room changes in a six-night period. Throughout this ordeal, the hotel staff were unsympathetic and made us feel as though we were a burden to them. In the final room we moved to, the air conditioning did not work in one of the rooms, and the balcony door did not lock, making us feel unsafe. The most alarming issue was the fire incident. It was treated very nonchalantly by the hotel staff, despite its seriousness. My husband had to run into the fire to retrieve our passports, risking his safety. Our children could have been in the room when the fire began, or we could have been sleeping. This incident should have been handled with much more seriousness and urgency considering the fact that this incident could have resulted in serious injury or death!

My honest review of this hotel. We booked as a family of seven, my daughter, son in law with three children aged 13, 11 and 2, my husband and myself. On arrival in the early hours with very tired children instead of providing us with what we had booked, ( we had booked and paid for a family room and basic room) we were offered a family villa. We were shown the Villa and boy what a disaster! It reminded me of a YMCA hostel ! No wardrobes, dressing table or even a bedside table.. and not ideal for a two year old toddler with three stories of high concrete steps. My oldest granddaughter turned in the shower and black water came out! We went straight back to reception to complain and said there was no way we could stay in there and were immediately moved to a new room with two rooms and large balcony. This was called the ‘superior room’ It wasn't what we booked in the first place but to be honest by this time we were all too tired to move. The next day the reception manager was very apologetic. We did hear from other guests that this happened quite a lot.. given different rooms, complaining, and then being moved. The highlight were the flumes & splash park which were ideal for the kids and they loved every minute. However, the music around this area was far too loud and unnecessarily so! You couldn’t hear each other talk ! The music wasn’t always appropriate either with songs on a loop with very bad swear words ( not suitable for a family resort) then when the 'foam party' started they vamped up the volume again! We did mention this to the guest relations manager who said he’d deal with it. Talking to many other guests this seemed to be the most common complaint - the hotel needs to listen to their customers and turn the music down. We ended up at the 'quite pool' the rest of our holiday as I couldn't deal with that for two weeks. The food was ok although very basic and repetitive. Chicken and fish most days. I struggled to find much I liked to be honest, although my family enjoyed it. So personal preference it seems. The snack bar was very good with providing ice creams, burgers, pizzas from 10am onwards. they don't supply English tea bags so if you are are a tea drinker take your own! What will give this hotel a good review from me is the staff. Especially Ahmet Levent the food & beverage manager who was always checking if everything on us. He was always seen walking around the hotel making sure everything was ok. … Atilla from Guest Relations was brilliant and was always happy to listen to what we had to say. Yusuf Karaalp in the restaurant who was very attentive and make sure we had a table reserved for us ( being a family of 7 it was needed) and Issa from the Spa who was lovely.

We’ve just returned from a 7 day family holiday at this resort. Disappointing to say the least. There is no way this is a 4* resort, 2* is being generous. We had issues upon arrival where they didn’t have our rooms and some of the party had to sleep in an alternative room for the night until theirs was ready. Not ideal with 3 young children arriving very late in the evening. Check in staff didn’t admit to the mess up either and just tried to avoid us at check in hoping that would resolve the situation?! We travelled with a 9 month old baby and our room had a faulty aircon unit (cooler outside than in our room). Complained to reception 4 times about this but it was never fixed and fobbed off about it being checked by technical staff. By day 4 I had lost patience and demanded to move rooms if it couldn’t be fixed. Funnily enough, we moved rooms later that day. Beds are like sleeping on a rock. Awful. Rooms are dated unless you are in the family superior rooms which are new but clearly rushed to get done as multiple issues in those too (light fittings not fixed to wall properly, wires not safely put away etc). Food is bland and same every day. No variety at all. Slides were fun for the kids but this hotel honestly needs a massive revamp to say it’s a 4*. Wouldn’t return.

The staff make this hotel - yes it isn’t 5 star but you are NOT paying 5 star money. It doesn’t claim to be the Rixos. We were originally given the standard family room which was clean and ok to be fair, but asked mr baresh (reception manager) if we could pay for a an upgrade. After checking availability he offered us the family room in the new block (the aqua park entrance). And these were so much nicer, well worth paying the extra if you can. The pool slides were more than adequate for our 3 children. The resort isn’t massive and I prefer that so you can get about quite easily. Yes it is mainly orientated towards German/Russian guests, cos 80% are from there so why wouldn’t they cater for them. Food was ok but we were there 10 nights so of course it got boring, breakfast was the best for us and on one of the nights they had chicken shawarma which was lovely. Some of the desserts…. Wow.. one of the days we found milk cake and it was gorgeous. Mr Ahmed who is the food and beverage and is a true gentleman. He made so much effort with our family and treated us like we were his family and not just guests. He really is a TRUE asset to Club Aqua. Everyday we would walk into the food hall he would come say hi, ask how everything is going. The day we left he walked us to our transfer vehicle and waved us off. We nearly all had tears saying bye to him :-( and one of his new staff members, Mehdi (young girl that greets you at the entrance to the food hall) is so cute and kind hearted, made so much effort with my son. Even though she doesn’t speak much English but used google translate to communicate with us. These 2 people truly made every penny we spent on this holiday worthwhile. And you can tell when certain staff members are fake and just looking for tip. But mr Ahmed and Mehdi were so genuine. The beach is nothing special - in 10 days we went twice. The location is a bit remote, there’s Alaara bazaar 10 minute walk which is ok but NOT cheap. To be fair nothing is really cheap here. Everything is in Euros, even though their currency is lira! Alanya is worth going to but again it will cost like £50 to get there in a taxi! buses are so much cheaper, like £1-£2 but didn’t want the hassle with 3 kids. But the clothes/bags/watches are so much better quality in Alanya town compared to Alaara Bazaar. If your wanting to go shopping or do stuff I would pick a hotel more in Alanya etc as this is out in middle of no where

We went to the market of the Aqua plaza hotel. It's already difficult for a lady to get in because 7-8 men are sitting in front of the door. Inside Everything is very expensive and something you asked yesterday is 2x the price today. They put people in the place of ******. I bought an electronic cigarette and it came out broken. (package with closed bag) I brought it for exchange and on the same day. They didn't take it and argued with us. We were embarrassed as women. They cursed in Turkish, they thought we didn't understand. They said this is a market connected to a hotel, so it's expensive. I've been coming to Turkey for years, but I haven't seen people as rude as these. Those in front of the door yell at each other inside shouting outside. We were so scared. We left the material and the money.
