The hotel is in a good location, not far from the city and 20 minutes from the airport, so I have plenty of time. The hotel service is average. There is no water in the room, so you need to buy it yourself. Only on the first day. The room is a bit small, and the bathroom is also very small. If you go to the toilet, you will bump into other people when they come in. Breakfast was pretty good

An excellent Hotel. Simply calling it a hotel is an understatement. It is a home with amazing amenities, magnificent views, superb cuisine, friendly and professional staff. The room was a dream; Spacious and cozy. The ambience is soft modern, and decorated with simplicity yet warm. Welcoming yet contemporary. The food was delectable; with a daily changing of menus. The selection of local wines are complex, elegant, and aromatic. A true experience that would make the trip worth while. The views are stunning, breath taking and mesmerizing. We highly recommend a stay at this marvelous establishment. We also want to especially thank the whole staff; in particular Gigi, Sergio, Mario, Diego Analisa Alessandro Chiossa (The assistant Manager of the Restaurant). Lastly, hats off to the General Manager Sergio Pileri. Thank you all.

This is one of those hotels that tries to be 5-stars but keeps missing the target. For over €400 a night, we expected better service and a higher attention to details. For examples bathroom that work properly (bidet wasn’t working, shower wasn’t draining), plenty of parking as they said there would be), no attitude from some front desk staff members, quality of the beach towels (and not signing them out?!?), etc. I would suggest that management spends some time in true high-end resorts and then be realistic about trying to achieve that for themselves. It’s okay if you don’t want to be 5-star, just don’t pretend that you are. Also something to watch out for… PROS - nicely designed rooms, clean, spacious - large pool and proximity to hotel beach - great complementary breakfast buffet CONS - pool is ice-cold and not heated - no control over room AC - overpriced restaurants - and everything mentioned above For hotel management, here are some specific examples of what you can do now that you know better. 1) If the main parking is full and you tell an elderly customer to park in the overflow lot down the hill, don’t expect them to pay €15 to get the car for them in the following day. Either absorb the consequence of overbooking and offer the complementary valet, organize yourselves better with assigned parking spots based on room location, or charge for parking so that you don’t have a supply/demand issue. 2) Don’t be cheap by having guests sign out sub-par beach towels that are the older ripped ones from bathrooms. Especially since on some days you sign them out and on other days you don’t. Also, if you are not getting guests to sign them back in at the end of the day and we just throw in a large bin - what’s the point? Instead, you should have better-quality, beach-sized towels, in each room. You can even have them in a nice “v-retreats” beach bag that guests can purchase upon departure if they wish. You’d look a bit more sophisticated/less cheap and optimize pool attend responsibility. 3) When a guest tells you there’s an issue with plumbing/washroom, put yourself in their shoes and try to resolve the matter quickly rather than waiting for the 3rd complaint to do something about it. Offer a solution that helps address their concerns during their stay. If the shower tiles are not properly installed (and others have reported this), own up to it. It’s okay, and even respected, to say “we are aware of the issue but we haven’t had a chance to repair it yet this season”. Offer a solution instead of making the guests deal with the problem on their own. I hope this review will better inform guests and also provide the hotel with opportunities for improvement.

Beautiful hotel. Every day a small army of maids cleans and polishes every surface keeping the whole hotel looking pristine. The decor is modern, tasteful and comfortable. The hotel lobby and lounge are nice places to sit and relax. The hotel is fully air conditioned with every space inside having a calm, relaxed, cool feeling. The views from the hotel lobby across the sea to the mountains across the bay are stunning. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped, clean and fresh, with a small fridge that actually worked... unlike other hotels I've stayed in. There is TV but the programmes are Italian (obviously), although you can get a UK news channel. The pool area is lovely, the pool gently slopes from one end to the other without a sudden drop off, so you can literally walk in getting your toes wet, and walk to the other end which is about 5 ft deep. Relaxing on the sunbeds looking across the bay at passing ships and anchored super yachts is ideallic. I read a review from someone complaining of aircraft noise. Yes, you can see planes in the distance approaching and leaving Olbia but the noise is distant and certainly not an annoyance. Every evening the sun sets behind the mountains across the bay, and the colour of the sky is stunning. Every member of staff, from the managers, receptionists, maids, maintenance staff, waiters and waitresses were extremely polite, approachable, friendly, attentive, and super helpful. Many spoke several languages... one of the waiters was fluent in six languages. They all made an effort to remember us, engaged in conversation and really made our stay enjoyable and memorable. If you like a pint of Fosters at 10.00 am, an all-day full English breakfast, and a roast dinner on Sunday, then this is not the hotel for you. It's a class establishment. The hotel is in a secluded spot with its own private beach in a small sheltered bay. There is nothing within a comfortable walking distance of the hotel apart from a couple of pizza restaurants, no shops, pubs, or amusement arcades, so if you want to get about you will have to hire a car. Reception helped with this, they contacted a company who delivered a car to the hotel at 10.00 am on a day of our choice and they collected it from the hotel. The process was very easy and the price was very reasonable. Using taxis to get about is very expensive. The weather was great so all our meals were eaten outside but you can eat indoors if you choose. Breakfast was a buffet set up with a wide variety on offer to satisfy all tastes and diets. Lunch was available at the pool bar. Evening meal was in the main restaurant. This is more of a five-star dining experience. The chef is obviously passionate about his food and every dish... starter, main course and dessert, was a work of art presented on a plate. I'm not used to that sort of dining and at first glance I have to admit I thought that's not much food. But honestly, by the time I'd got through each course, along with the baskets

Lovely modern hotel (need a car as nothing else within walking distance) £50 for taxi to town …..however if your happy to chill and relax it’s got a great pool and we had a bottom floor room with terrace perfect …..food all the food is great however lunch is served promptly til 2.30 then pizza salad and sandwiches until 7.30 we don’t eat this late so found ourselves eating our main meal at 1.30 and then snacking not ideal …..our room 507 although well equipped especially toiletries didn’t have a tea tray we explained we don’t drink coffee ended up going to town to buy teabags as the staff didn’t understand our English and they insisted on charging us fir the milk …we did knock it ofif the bill but to be honest are we the first English also we had to run the water fir 10 minutes as the plumber explained it’s a long way from the boiler unfortunately it goes against the grain wasting water ….also as we don’t eat late it’s nice to get changed and sit in the lounge which is lovely but no Service til 8.30 so had to go to pool bar to get served ….a bit haphazard and a shame not to have the bar open …so yes lovely hotel lovely food service was a let down as in lack of it…..spa is small but I had 2 excellent massages especially the lomi ……advice take a boat trip as great to see the shoreline with Roberto ….would I stay again yes ….i would take milk tea bags snacks and get a car for a few days in between
