With an unusual check in time of 5pm this contributed to a bad start, together with a less than appealing litter strewn entrance we had to verify our identity in the middle of the street. Despite the fact it was next to the official office next door.
That said the courtyard was lovely to relax in. Rooms were spacious and clean.
I could not really recommend the area in general.

Good location with a wonderful little "garden". Parking can be difficult but was able to find a spot everytime!

Great little hotel in the centre of Olbia, 5mins to the bus stops going to the beach, 10mins to the historical centre. Clean, pleasant rooms, and a very helpful host, highly recommended! A bit noisy if your window is by the street, but it really didn't bother us at all. A great base from which to explore Olbia and the Costa Smeralda!

Cosy stay
We had a restful stay at Domus Olbia Inn, the aircon, bed and shower was all we needed! Had a TV too for late night cartoons. Other reviews say they were bothered by the closeness to a busy road but honestly with the shutters closed I didn’t hear anything. We couldn’t get the shower head to stay up fully but that’s the only criticism. Beautiful courtyard to eat and relax in too.

The owner of the property contacted me via WhatsApp asking for my arrival time. I replied that we would arrive between 7 and 7:30 PM. He then sent me a code via WhatsApp to enter the property and for the room. After this message, I replied that check-in was scheduled, as per the instructions in the email from the property, from 5 to 8 PM in person. I therefore requested in-person check-in since we would arrive well before 8 PM. The owner replied that it was not possible to do so in person even though it was scheduled, justifying this by saying that he did not want to hold guests hostage for the arrival. Absurd reasoning. I don't understand then why he asked me for my arrival time at the property, given that check-in would not take place in person but by sending the opening codes? He didn't respond to me on this matter. The only answer he gave me was to put €5 for the tourist tax in the key box when we left. I will never return to this property again, and I don't recommend it either, given the failure to respect the conditions of stay and, above all, the guests. Before booking, make sure they respect the conditions of stay.
