A little gem of aparthotel thank you for a wonderful stay especially to all the staff very friendly and welcoming Jose & Maria were amazing! We spent a lovely relaxing week at Aquamar. So glad we chose these apar**ents. It’s a small complex which suits us but has everything you need and in a great location. Friendly, helpful staff and the apar**ents are spacious and so clean. Our apar**ent was on the pool area so didn’t have a big balcony but faced out to the street and was fine for us. Pool area was really nice and the snack bar open from 9 to 5.30. Would definitely return and recommend.

Really good standard of apar**ent. Everything available for what you need. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is ideal for all the surrounding bars and restaurants. Falesia beach is just a stroll away, be prepared for the steps. We will return again

What a beautiful find, after arriving in Portugal and our original hotel was a complete disaster we found this hotel by chance. From arrival to leaving we were made to feel so very welcome, Paula the manager was beyond helpful meeting all our needs. Maria on the bar went above and beyond serving coffee and drinks throughout the day. So very clean, friendly and welcoming.

We stayed for 10 nights. Couldn't have faulted anything except I think the 2 main pools out the back should be different depths so younger children can reach the floor. It was a peaceful, clean, friendly apar**ent, rooms are big, the beds are so so comfortable!!! Well equipped, Paula is so lovely & helpful. Would definitely stay again if we was to come back - 15 mins uber ride from the old town which we did everyday as round the apar**ents if a few bars but very quiet. (Probably because the season had just started). The bar in the hotel closes early, I think like 9-5 or something. Same as the staff hours at the hotel reception. But we went elsewhere every day. Portugal is beautiful.

This apart-hotel may be overshadowed in size to its neighbours but more than makes up for it with a lovely, warm and friendly a**osphere. The management and staff are all very polite and helpful. The apar**ents are spacious and the beds are great. We had breakfast one morning and found it just right , other mornings we had toast in the room and that was lovely. Cannot fault this cracking hotel with 28 apar**ents , 2 pools , bar and pool table it was a great base for our week. Thanks

After a lovely stay in an all inclusive on a previous visit to Olhos De Agua, we decided to go self catering so we could enjoy local restaurants more and Aquamar was a perfect choice! This hotel is in a nice and quiet location, well placed for the restaurants and beach etc. We really enjoyed our stay at Aquamar. Everywhere was clean and tidy. Due to not being quite in season the only member of staff we really interacted with was the receptionist, who was friendly and helpful. We were very pleasantly surprised with how much space we had in our room, with a nice sized bedroom, a good sized bathroom with his & hers sinks, nice shower/bath, kitchen well stocked with what you’d need and a small washing up pack with sponge, scouter and satchel of washing up liquid, and finally a comfy lounge with two settees, one of which is convertible to a bed. About a 200m walk down a gentle hill to the beach and mist restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay, got good sleep and felt refreshed of a morning. Pool area was nice, there was a small room with free books to choose from. Gym looked good but didn’t go in as you must need a key. In season they have a bar and food, would have been great if it had been available during our stay. Be aware that the pick up/drop off point is about 100 yards from the hotel, with a slight incline with about 40 yards of cobbles. Would definitely come again.

We are just coming to the end of our fourth trip to Olhos D'agua, and our third stay at the Aquamar. In my opinion, the resort is absolutely ideal for couples wanting a quiet holiday, and the Aquamar is in the ideal location. Close to restaurants and bars and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. The Aquamar is a small complex, no problems with getting sunbeds round the twin pools. Rooms are spotless and well appointed, but by far the best thing about the apar**ents is the staff. We were greeted by the receptionist on booking in; she was so pleasant and told us to treat this as our home throughout our stay. The cleaners were polite and friendly and bedding and towels were changed regularly. The little snack bar downstairs was good and not at all expensive, and once again the lady who works there went above and beyond. My wife has dietary issues, so had asked for the vegetable soup on the menu. As it turned out this wasn't available that day, so she offered to make a chicken soup from scratch, which my wife assured me was delicious. It is the friendliest place I have ever stayed and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. We wouldn't even think of staying anywhere else in Portugal. The only potential downside is that the pool area is not really ideal for very young children; this obviously didn't affect us but it's worth noting if you have a young family. Could not possibly recommend this place any higher. Just perfect.

No complaints whatsoever. Lovely spacious rooms, very accomodating and friendly staff (especially José who was very helpful, large and quiet pool area and so close to lovely restaurants (Manzo, Fratelli, La Cigale and Versatile) and two beaches (one’s a 5 min walk away and the other is 10-15 min walk away). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will recommend to friends and family 😊
