This time I stayed in the apartment. There is a kitchenette and three bedrooms. There is also a heater for winter. You can play in the snow by opening the balcony door. very good

Nous avons passé quatre nuits dans cet établissement très agréable et joliment fleuri en été. La chambre Exécutive Vue Montagne est décorée aux couleurs montagnardes et comme son nom l’indique offre un panorama splendide sur les montagnes environnantes. Par contre, le lit pour notre fille n’était pas très confortable et le chien des voisins était relativement bruyant (mais ce n’est pas la faute de l’hôtel). Le petit déjeuner est copieux et fait de produits frais et locaux. Le bar est sympa, surtout lorsque l’on peut profiter de la terrasse extérieure, et les restaurants offrent des plats délicieux et bien présentés (les serveurs se souviennent même des intolérances et allergies ce qui est assez incroyable vu le nombre de clients). L’espace spa est chaleureux, l’accueil très professionnel et les massages bien exécutés. L’espace jeux pour les enfants est top et se compose d’un billard, d’un baby-foot et d’une table de ping pong. Une mention particulièrement pour les employés de l’hôtel qui sont tous très polis, prévenants et attentionnés. On ne peut que passer un excellent séjour dans cet établissement. Nous reviendrons dans quelques semaines. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe !

Run down property, bad food and poor management
Really disappointed, the place is running down and the management does not seem to care. Food is just catastrophic and definitely not worth anything more than what a 3 star hotel would provide. The hotel has a serious issue around its restaurants. And the management refuses to acknowledge it.

Das Chalet Royalp liegt sehr ruhig am Rand von Villars-sur-Orlon. Aber der Bahnhof für die Zahnradbahn rauf zum Col-de-Bretaye ist direkt vor dem Haus und wenn man ins Dorf möchte, gibt es einen kostenloses Shuttle. Top 5-Sterne-Haus mit toller Architektur. Viel Holz, sehr viel Charme. Wir hatten ein tolles Zimmer nach hinten raus (das heisst dann „Park-Blick“. Muss man wissen, das nach vorne raus zum Park ist „Berg-Blick“). Sehr leckeres Frühstück und 3 Restaurants, von denen 2 leider geschlossen waren. Teilweise super Personal, der Concierge, die Dame am Empfang oder die mega coole Bartenderin. Das einzige, was eine vollen 5-Punkte-Bewertung verhindert, ist der Spa-Bereich. Es ist mehr ein „Schwimmbad mit angeschlossenen Sauna-Kabinen“. Das man nur mit Badebekleidung in die Sauna darf, liegt wohl an dem französischen Einfluss. Dass die Leute sich dann ohne Handtuch direkt aufs Holz setzen, vermutlich auch. Aber es gibt keinen separaten Ruhe-Bereich für die Sauna-Gäste. Und im Schwimmbad-Bereich sind sowohl Luftqualität wie auch Lautstärke nicht wirklich Spa-tauglich. Aber alles in allem: Gerne wieder.

J'ai vécu une merveilleuse expérience au Chalet Royalap ! L'endroit est charmant, extrêmement confortable et offre une vue spectaculaire. Tout était très bien organisé, propre et équipé de tout ce dont nous avions besoin. L'emplacement est parfait pour ceux qui souhaitent se détendre en pleine nature, mais également avec un accès facile aux attractions touristiques. Le service était impeccable et attentionné, nous faisant nous sentir chez nous dès le premier instant. Je le recommande à tous ceux qui recherchent la tranquillité et la qualité ! J'ai hâte d'y retourner !
