When it comes to travel, I have very high requirements, and Elangata excelled them all. The accommodations are truly remarkable, akin to staying at a five-star resort; the cuisine is outstanding; and the staff and service are exceptional – they are willing to assist you with anything you require. That's all on top of the amazing safari, where we got to view the Big 5, all of the animals up close, and everything we wanted to see. We were also permitted to go off-road. Your stay at the luxurious Tented Camp in Elangata Olerai will not be regrettable.

Companions It can be difficult to find a good camp in Kenya's Masai Mara if you've never been there before. We were pleased to have had the nicest experience when we reserved the Elangata Olerai camp. To start, the camp and the park are quite near. Second, it has wonderful meals, good, large rooms, adequate lighting, and a very safe a**osphere. It was wonderful to have a camp that was so tidy.

I went on a trip with some pals, and it was unquestionably the finest one yet! from the cuisine to the climate to the camp staff to the locals themselves! The camp's amenities were excellent. Fantastic experience outside! and swimming pool. The highlights of our stay were undoubtedly the evening performances by the villagers and the early game drives!

Spent the holiday at Elangata Olerai Luxury Camp located in a serene, natural and picturesque environment overlooking the Maasai Mara National Reserve and I would say the place is amazing. The reception by its team of staff was top notch and the food was awesome as well. I would recommend you check it out next time you are on your trip to the park. The Maasai Dance made our night and should be done often to entertain guests and usher them to learn the local culture and way of the people. Also don’t miss a visit to the Maasai Village; it was amazing.

This place did not look like the pictures. Many of the rooms do not have working toilets and electricity is only available for a few hours a day (makes the refrigeration skeptical at best). My tent did not have a lock, and the lodge is not fenced. This place has definitely fallen into disrepair and the manager would not acknowledge our concerns.

This place is anything but “value.” There was very short window of electricity and wifi, which the staff lied about upon booking our stay. Additionally, there was not clean water, and it was generally not safe to be there. Tents had holes in them and no mosquito nets. Half of the tents didn’t have flushing toilets or any sort of separation between the toilet, shower, and beds. The water was orange/brown and it didn’t even seem safe to wash your hands. The sink in my bathroom hadn’t been cleaned in some time and neither had the cobwebs near the beds. In one room that did have a mosquito net, there was a spider in a web with very large eggs. If we were to use that mosquito net we would’ve had a much bigger problem. Some tents also did not have locks, not to mention that the camp didn’t have any fencing or gating to keep their guests safe. The dining tent had holes in the floor which many people tripped over. The pictures that they advertise online are nothing like the place. It’s gross, unsafe, invaluable, and disrespectful. Even though the staff were friendly, they didn’t even know where our tents were. The food was even worse. Myself and many of the people I traveled with got severely sick, to the point of needing to go to the hospital. When we asked the staff what meat they were serving they didn’t know. If I could give this place negative stars I would. Between the safety, cleanliness, and disrespect there is no way I would ever visit again.

Could only stay for a night due to the safety and health hazards. No mosquito nets, holes in tent, no working toilets, brown water, and holes in the floor. Everyone in my travel group became sick from eating the food here. Also FYI The staff write all the good reviews for this place.

In kenya's Narok county, there are vast green grazing fields and farms after the rains ,Right at the heart of The maasai land is a quiet germ . Elangata olerai, True African beauty.A place to behold, A team of cheeful people, Great food . Spacious comfortable rooms, The rooms are decorated with animal print them making then unique and beautiful. The dinning lounge overlooks a beautiful scenery. Sparkling walk ways, fitted with soral lighting. we were treated to a Riverside walk, maasai village visit and activities especially the moran dancers. We experienced their culture at first hand. The tour guide had vast information. He named all animals and birds that we came across and also taught us a lot about their behavior. We experienced A TRUE mara adventure . When it was time to leave,we didn't want to go but...Our time was up. We left hopping to come back soon for the same experience. We can only thank these people for the wonderful experience. We shall surely come back.
