Hostal la Vila

The first impression was not great because the manager that attended us was not wearing a mask to comply with Covid-19 safety measures. However, she was very nice, laid-back and helped us change rooms from a twin to a triple room without charging any price difference. The room -with ensuite bathroom- was clean, basic but had air-conditioning and a flat TV. The hostel was located in the heart of Olot and close to many bars, restaurants and the bus station. Although our room was almost facing the main square, it was very quiet at night to sleep. There is an elevator and a bar/restaurant on the main floor. In our opinion, we would have expected much more for the price we paid (like an included breakfast or nicer furniture), so we might probably stay in another place if we ever have the opportunity to visit Olot again.
