Monta Verde Hotel & Villas

PLEASE AVOID IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET ROBBED. We stayed here for a week, and on our third day, our hotel room was robbed. £500, and my boyfriend's Apple Watch was stolen from our locked room!! There was no sign of break-in, leading me to believe it was a member of staff. When we informed the staff, we were told multiple times, by staff, members not to call the police, and they didn't seem to care at all. Considering either someone is managing to break into rooms undetected or staff are stealing from customers, they genuinely were not sorry at all and did not care one bit. They insisted staff hadn't stolen- yet they also insisted no one else had access to our room key- so something doesn't add up! We got moved to a different room with two single beds (even though we were there as a couple), and this was only after pushing several times to get another room. No refund was offered, and no compensation was offered. One day of food, which was about £10 was wiped off our tab after we insisted it was, since we had no way of paying for it since our cards had been cancelled and all our cash stolen. We didn't leave the cash out in the open; we left it in purses and bags that had been rummaged through. We saved for months for this holiday and spent it feeling sad and unsafe. You couldn't pay me to return. If this seems to good to be true, it is because it is. Staff members were great, which was such a shame since management did not care one jot we were literally stolen from, from the safety of our room.

Just returned home from a 10 night stay at the Monta verde hotel in ovacik turkey , from the moment we arrived to the day we left I can honestly say no complaints whatsoever 😃 , the owners , the staff the cleanliness the breakfast all 💯 % we will definitely be back next year 🥰 got a lovely Italian attached to monta verde , best lasagna I’ve ever had , 3 times i had it 🤗 plus pasta dish & pizzas 🍕 , the chips on the hotel r gorgeous , not good for the waist line haha , bus stop right outside 👍👍 it’s a little gem 💎 thank you monta verde love Viv & Pete ( Margaret) passport name , see you next year ❤️❤️❤️

Very friendly welcoming staff and owners from arrival to departure; nothing was too much trouble. Room basic but very clean and had everything you need. We stayed bed and breakfast only, Plenty of choice at Breakfast and the Turkish tea and cake in the afternoon was a lovely treat. It is a quiet hotel but that suited us perfectly. Would definitely stay again.

A breath of fresh air! Very chilled and laid back. All Staff are very friendly. Cleaning team are absolutely immaculate! Never seen a room so clean and welcoming as that before. Hopefully we will return!

We were looking for a relaxing break and MontaVerde exceeded expectations. From being met off the bus to helped back on the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our standard double room was smaller than expected but more than adequate, and kept immaculately clean. We booked Half Board and the buffet evening meal was tasty, it is however local menus. There are plenty alternative places nearby or in Hisaronou/ Olu Deniz which are easy to get to. The snack bar menu during the day is varied and very reasonable. We didn't have a chance to try the Italian upstairs. The spa was reasonably priced and we enjoyed our Turkish baths. I booked further massages after advice for a known issue, which definetely helped. We are looking to book again next year

Well once again just returned from our fourteen nights at the Monta verde our tenth time and what a great holiday it was, seeing the crew of Barkin, Bora, and mum plus our two great friends and brothers behind the bar and restaurant plus the rest of the staff, brilliant. Once again a great room good food and relaxing environment can’t beat it, the hotel also has an Italian restaurant where the food was superb, meeting up with great friends whom like us return time after time, all arrangements made over the phone apart from flights, what more could you want. Brilliant.

Great hotel, bus and taxi’s from outside the hotel entrance and they were very cheap (buses every 5 minutes). Just minutes to the busier resorts but quiet enough so you can get a good nights sleep. The staff and owners were fabulous, nothing was too much trouble. Food at the pool bar was excellent with a good choice. Only criticism was not enough Sun loungers although beautiful beaches in Olu Deniz.

What a gem of a place! I have passed this hotel many times over the years but first time staying. Hopefully not my last time. Standard of rooms was excellent. The food at the breakfast buffet varied and well presented. Lovely crepes and omelette cooked to order! Plenty of fresh fruit and salad available! However the shining crown goes to the amazing staff! ALL SO VERY PLEASANT. The reception staff who greeted me made a great first impression. The hard working bar/kitchen and waiting staff always there to greet and assist with a smile. Maintenance was ongoing throughout my stay. Hats off to the cleaning staff, always smiling and happy to help. Highly recommended and God willing I will return. Thank you Monta Verde ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
