Our experience was a complete joke from beginning to end. We arrived at 11:00pm on a Thursday night. It took the man at the front desk an uncomfortable amount of time to check us in, while holding on to our credit card. Upon entering our room, we were met with many bugs circling the bathroom sink, visible stains on the navy blue bed skirt, and hairs on the bedspread. The toilet seat was not attached to the toilet and was able to be removed, the towel bar was rusty, and the ceiling above the shower was peeling. In addition, the air conditioner was extremely loud. Because of the late hour, we tried to ignore the issues and get the best night sleep we could, knowing that we needed to be up early to prepare to meet family and go to a college graduation. When we went to take a shower the next morning, we realized that the hot water worked, but the cold water dial was unable to be turned. My husband went down to the desk to tell them we needed a new room with a working shower. When we got into our new "non-smoking" room, it reeked of cigarette smoke - but the shower was in working order, so we dealt with it. The room was again dirty, several of the electrical outlets did not work, and my bath towel had a big hole in it. Each time we went to the front desk to speak with the manager, when we were told he/she would be there, mysteriously, he/she was never there or available. I feel we should be able to receive a complete refund for our stay. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. The fact that they're still open is amazing to me. They should be condemned by the health department or shut down for all of the electrical or building violations.
