Accused us of damage we didn't do. Unprofessional way of handling it. And instead of a neutral response (e.g. We are sorry for the inconvenience. I'm glad we were able to reach a resolution, etc.") I get this passive-aggressive response 'We DO charge for damage' and 'My voicemail has a greeting, etc." TLDR version: We stayed and without them letting us know, they charged us $200 for curtains and linens. They could only show damage of a perfect square cut out of one of the curtains. Nothing was said further about the linens even though I asked multiple times for it. I also requested for them to review security footage because I suspect Becky was the saboteur, but of course that went unanswered along with my voicemails. Fortunately, Hilton corp stepped in and listed to our side and actually used their brain cells to determine we had no reason to do this. Not sure how the manager there got her job, but she has so much to learn. Bottom line, watch your card for charges. Take pictures before you check out. Or better yet, don't stay there. I miss the old DoubleTree off Cedar Street--that was our favorite. This place is a joke (and look at other reviews--apparently these ghost charges are somewhat common for them. An afterthought, I wear IC Berlin eyewear--very expensive--but they are unbreakable (screwless design) and I sat on them and my lens popped out. Becky was staring us up and down like we were UFOs on the way out. Not sure if she thought it was some sort of domestic situation or what, but my wife had to drive while I popped my lens back in. Not really sure...it was strange. I would just avoid this property either way because everything about it was wrong.
