The hotel is located by the lake, and you can take a free shuttle bus at the north exit of JR Station. You need to make an appointment in advance. The hotel management is in place and the staff is professional, warm and friendly. The room was clean and tidy, the equipment was slightly old, and the lake view outside the window was very charming. First of all, I feel it's very important to mention that the staff here were very helpful in handling a big problem I had with my booking app. I was very grateful for this assistance. There is a beautiful garden outside the lobby. The room had a great view of the town and Hachiman mountain, and was among the most spacious and comfortable I've had in Japan.

Omihachiman & Azuchi 1 night 2 day We used it for a solo trip. It was ｼﾝｸﾞﾙ (ｽﾀﾝﾀﾞｰﾄﾞ) and the room ｻｲｽﾞ:17m2 ﾍﾞｯﾄﾞ width 135cm. Even if you have a big luggage, you can open and close in the room (see attached photo). Because ﾎﾃﾙ is near the station, it is convenient for travelers in the sense of leaving your luggage and walking around Omihachiman. However, if you stay on the JR Biwako line side, the railway ﾏﾆｱ can see the JR running in front of you. It may be fun, but if you don't, you may be worried about the sound of the freight train running in the middle of the night. (If you care about the sound, you may be better to stay in a room facing the north.) Hotel location should be the biggest advantage, about five minutes walk from the river Basaka Station. The hotel staff is very professional and welcoming. I stayed for one night on weekdays while the cherry blossoms were blooming in April. I really wanted to stay in Kyoto City for sightseeing in Kyoto the next day, but it was a hotel that I found far away to Omihachiman city because the accommodation cost was unbelievable. It is one by train to Kyoto, so it is very convenient for sightseeing in Kyoto, and of course, you can also sightseeing in Omihachiman, so I think it is not a bad choice. The hotel looks a bit old local business hotel. The appearance was a bit tired, and even if I entered, I was tired.
