wifi net work was very poor in my room. i could hardly do the work i needed to do without losing connection.
1st day , they forgot to put my towels
and then the receipt i got doesnt reflect the taxes or charges , leading to a shortage in the mount that i have to claim from the company.

I had a good stay at the PROTEA hotel Ondangwa. Clean rooms . The food was great. Breakfast buffet on steroids. But on the first day they forgot to put towels. I will go back there again next time because it is probably the best place to stay in that area .

It is October and very hot. None of the aircons were working where we've been and the place is in dire need of a refurb or closing down. Shocking to even see a 4* on the board! I will not even rate it as a 1*. The lady at the bar was so clueless, that she did not even know how to open a bottle of beer, not even mentioning the fact that she had zero knowledge of any other drinks. Very sad to experience this after the Covid pandemic that damaged the industry. Not sure if this place can be saved from my perspective....

We're a company situated in Windhoek, about every month on and of we make bookings at Protea Hotel Ondangwa for our people. Their telephone and email skills out of 10 is zero. One send an email to request for a quote, no response for about 2 days, you would not get a response unless you call - which I did. Call was taken, 'yes, we received the request' (ok, thinking to myself, response??) 'yes, we will send now an email, this will only be done after 2 or 3 calls. Dinner is not worth that charge of N$250.00, Service at the Hotel self is poor - one always have to look for somebody to ask for assistance. What happened to decent SERVICE in Namibia???
