Lage: Im kleinen Ort Collingwood idyllisch direkt an einer Flussmündung gelegen (Sitzgelegenheiten davor – herrlich). Zu der kleinen Ausgehmeile im Ort nur 5 Min. zu Fuß. Eine Tankstelle gibt es im Ort übrigens auch. Zimmer: Unsere Unterkunft bestand aus einem modern, weil neu eingerichteten Unit, der letzten direkt an der Flussmündung. Mit Küche, kleiner Terrasse und allem, was dazugehört. Das Bad war zugegeben etwas spartanisch, aber alles in allem ok. Fazit: Wir waren zufrieden und erhielten, wofür wir bezahlt hatten.

What a fabulous three night stay!!! 👍👍 Our hosts Steve and Amber were amazing. The motel is exceptional and the surroundings beyond awe. 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We were treated to: Spectacular scenery, Awesome wildlife, Amazing people. 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highlights: 1) Collingwood Park Motel, its estuary, and our magnificent hosts. Loved the kayaking here, too. 2) Collingwood settlement. 3) Waikoropupu Springs 4) Tākaka shops 5) Wharariki Beach and seals 🦭 . 6). Tata Beach and its beauty. 7) The Mussel Inn with its outside dining. 8). Farewell Spit - A MUST! Many, many more amazing experiences were had, … but we’ll let you find out for yourselves. Just come!

Perfect place to stay before and after our Farewell Spit tour (their office and departure point is across the road) Clean and tidy unit, I found the bed really comfortable. Kitchenette has all the requirements needed. Plenty of parking. Friendly and helpful staff.

We spent two nights at the Collingwood Park. Split level room was clean and comfortable with well equipped kitchette. Nice shower, TV, parking right outside your unit, BBQ for guest use and laundry room on site should you need. On the whole day we had in Collingwoood, we drove up to the Farewell Spit Lookout (where we saw seals) and Wharariki Beach before joining an excellent horse riding trek with Farewell Spit Treking. We would definately recommend Collingwood Park Motel if you're in the area.

Very clean, fab location, friendly staff. Right in town, opposite the farewell spit tour office. We had the family room which was perfect for our tribe and has an awesome view of the estuary. Lovely clean bedding, very modern interior with nice carpet.

Great setup beside the tidal harbour. The room had everything we needed, comfortable bed, good shower, fridge, micro microwave and a heat pump. The staff were helpful. Outside BBQ facilities, outdoor seating and an on site laundromat. Plenty of parking
