Langer dan een halfuur gewacht bij de incheckbalie, ondanks dat meerdere collega’s langsliepen, niemand die zich er iets van aantrok.

We were made to feel extremely unwelcome on arrival by a very rude receptionist. I had written in advance to say we would be arriving late, but before 22:00. I was assured this would be fine and that the reception would remain open until 22:00. We arrived at 21:00 and we're told we were lucky to be let in as he was about to go home. We had travelled for 15 hours and were very thirsty. I asked if there were was anywhere to get a drink and was told, "no, there is nothing". I asked if there was anywhere close by and was told, "it is a very small place, you can take a look around if you like, but there is nothing". There is no means at all of obtaining drinking water other than from the bathroom tap. The room was chilly with an inadequate duvet. Inadequate and disappointing. We most definitely will not be returning.

Plezierige ontvangst. De kamer was keurig, maar wel veel te warm voor ons doen. Het ontbijt was lekker met veel keuze.

Ik ben zeer teleurgesteld in de service bij de fletcher hotels. Om een heel lang verhaal 'kort' te maken: Wij deden een boeking via een bongobon, vertrokken op vakantie, kwamen om 10u aan in ons hotel en kregen te horen dat het hotel helemaal vol zat. Terwijl wij gewoon een boeking hadden gedaan. Alle bewijzen ervan had ik bij. Maar de mijnheer aan de balie wilde hier zelfs niet naar kijken. Men ging ook niet mee op zoek naar een oplossing. Daar stonden we dan, om 22.00u 's avonds, gewoon op straat. We wilden in de lobby dan wat rondbellen om een oplossing te zoeken, maar ook daar werden we gewoon buitengezet. Of we het hotel alstublieft wilden verlaten... Wij zijn dan maar 1,5 uur terug naar huis gereden. Ik heb hiervoor gemaild. Het personeeldlid werd aangesproken en wij kregen een compensatie. Met deze compensatie ben ik nu al enkele weken bezig en nu blijkt uiteindelijk dat wij helemaal niet krijgen wat ons als compensatie beloofd was. Veel blaasjes maken ze ons wijs. Ik voel mij heel onterecht behandeld en zal dus nooit meer bij fletcher iets boeken.

The room is spacious and clean, but it needs: 1- a minibar or fridge. 2- Kettle and/or coffee machine. 3- Water bottles. Overall, it was a very good experience taking in consideration the room rate which is very good value compared to other hotels in the area.

The front desk staff were really helpful with my late arrival and check-in time. They were also very helpful with securing a taxi for me to my conference venue.
However, at 08:26am on a Tuesday morning 13th June during breakfast buffet, one staff walked across the room querying me as to what my room number was while I was having breakfast. I was extremely offended by this as no one else was asked this question on all 4 days I attended breakfast buffet. This has not been a thing in other hotels I’ve visited and it also did not help that I was the only black person in the room when this happened.
I think that particular staff needs to be trained on how to properly approach paying customers without offending them in the process. Also I expected the facility to at least have an iron and ironing board to straighten clothes.
These incidents aside, my stay was lovely and wonderful.
