Fantastic hotel! We went to stay here with our family (2 children aged 7 and 9) after a day in Magic Land! Our son's birthday was on the day of the overnight stay and because I had previously received email contact about my reservation, the hotel knew this. Very sweetly, there were balloons in our room and a card with a sweet present! We were very surprised and our son especially thought it was great! Thank you very much for this! The room is very modern and super clean! Nice room for the children which you can close with a sliding door... they could choose all kinds of lighting colors so they thought that was very cool! Good beds... Also had no problems with other guests...so the noise was fine...lovely shower...actually everything was great! We were able to have breakfast in the adjacent la place, which can be reached via a corridor! The breakfast was also great... everything was available: delicious croissants, white hard brown rolls, chicken fillet, ham cheese, pasta jam, sprinkles, boiled egg, scrambled eggs/fried bacon, / smoothies .. coffee tea ... and this was unlimited .. As you read, a very cozy and beautiful hotel. If we visit Toverland again, we will definitely book this again.

Would have rated 0 if I could…. I didn’t even make it out of the car and into the hotel reception!!! Upon arrival there were gangs of men coming and going in and out of the hotel, and to be frank, they looked like shady and suspicious types. I was highly uncomfortable with the glares as I sat in the car contemplating my options. After thirty minutes, I took a look at some reviews on this hotel and it turns out the hotel is being used as an ‘Emergency Shelter’ for refugees. Whilst I sympathise with their plight, this arrangement was not stated on the website or booking site. As a solo female, I felt so unsafe and uncomfortable that I decided not to get out of the car. I then left to another hotel losing the money already paid, as my booking was non-refundable. Would have appreciated the hotel making this refugee situation clear, to allow customers to consider this, before booking.

A big alarm that goes on at 4.30am and wakes up everyone but we didn’t receive any reason for that people were coming off of their room, tired and all. you can hear people talking in the hallway from your room. despite all of it, it was really beautiful, modern, good location. the staff was nice

Very modern convenient hotel, with excellent services of the hotel team. Breakfast is in La Palace, which is very good. Overall good. Due to KFC, McDonalds and the deposed garbage on the common parking place, during an evening walk a lot of rats observed !

Excellent hotel in an easily accessible location. Boring on an industrial estate, far from restaurants and the center. Rooms are fine for the price, quite spacious, with a nice infotainment system also for lighting. I always find it disappointing that the bathroom is not separated. There is ample and free parking in front of the door and there are also many superchargers for electric cars. Breakfast is well arranged with Laplace, where you can use a buffet, although it is a bit uncomfortable in a cold Laplace room. There were a lot of asylum seekers in the hotel, I think 90%. Personally, I don't mind it and haven't had any problems with it, it seems to make a lot of difference. What I thought was lame is that I would have to pay for 2 full days for 6 hours of bicycle rental (8:00 PM - 2:00 AM). Just count on 1 day because <24 hours.

If you don't mind sitting among the noisy asylum seekers at dinner in the La Place restaurant, which is adjacent to the hotel where these young men are being accommodated, then it is a beautiful and modern hotel. In the corridors you also come across these guys busy talking on the phone in Arabic. Our view of the ground floor was a grassy area with parking spaces where people were dealing and which was littered with waste from the McDonalds opposite. The hotel itself is beautiful, size TV, lovely shower and beds. The staff is helpful and friendly. But you'll never see us there again.

Looking for the ultimate hotel for our amusement park road trip, our choice fell on the Gr8 Hotel Oosterhout which was only 25km from Efteling but which above all offered a deluxe family room for less than 170€ per night (we booked less than a week before our departure). Once we arrive there, we check in. Everything is done electronically on a computer made available to us and with the help of the receptionists who were very friendly. We then go up to our room and there, complete surprise! I hadn't checked the layout of our room and was therefore expecting to have two large beds side by side in the same room but we ended up having a "mini suite" with two bedrooms separated by a sliding door. Everything here is high tech: dashboard in the master bedroom allowing you to manage the air conditioning, lights, etc., Smart TV in the master bedroom, etc. The open bathroom is made up of a separate toilet, a unit with sink and a huge Italian shower. There was plenty of storage space in the rooms as well as a safe provided. There was a small balcony in the master bedroom overlooking the small central garden. We had a drink at the bar and again, very surprised because we only paid €4.50 for a beer and an apple juice. We had a wonderful night as the beds were so comfortable. We also added breakfast at check-in. Cost: 10€ per person. Breakfast was taken in the La Place restaurant located right next to the hotel. We were very satisfied with the choice offered (especially the fresh orange and avocado fruit juices). Our only regret was that we only spent one night there! It is clearly obvious that we will return to stay there if the opportunity arises! They wholeheartedly deserve a big 5/5!!!
