We stayed at Landgoed Lauswolt 2 nights because of our 50 year marriage celebration. It is a beautiful venue with very professional and friendly staff at all levels. Breakfast, lunch and diner in the Michelin restaurant was a very pleasant experience. Some for example for the very professional wellness centre. We for sure will come back.

Excellent service in the bistro! Chapeau for the lovely young lady! We had a beautiful room, however above the kitchen .... Great breakfast; all was there except fresh orange juice Will definately come back! Peaceful and lovely people there

Het is een feest om op Lauwswold aan te komen.Prachtig gelegen en enthousiaste medewerkers die je ( wellicht teveel volgens het boekje) begroeten. Kamer en entourage zijn fantastisch.Maar.. Het eten in het ,voormalig sterren, restaurant was een echte teleurstelling. Weet niet wat er gebeurd is maar de nieuwe chef was helemaal van de het padje. Extra coquilles besteld ,extra boven een 3 gangen menu, maar die waren absoluut niet vers en doorbakken. Dat kan en mag niet voor deze lokatie! De prijs was overigens niet “doorbakken “ ＞ 20 euro :) Hoofdgerecht :Lamsvlees. Lamshaas met langzaam gegaarde lamsnek. Lamsnek niks mis mee.Top! Maar ,het halve (!), lamshaasje was doorbakken.Bij een doorsnee bistro serveren ze dit met gemak à point en hier wellicht te lang in de oven…. Al bij al zeer teleurstellend. Lokatie aan te bevelen.Eten …….

Wat een heerlijk hotel op een prachtige locatie. De kamer is prachtig, bed slaapt heerlijk, douche is top! De omgeving is ook echt heel mooi. 's Avonds hebben wij genoten van een heerlijk diner waarbij er perfect rekening gehouden wordt met dieetwensen (Heeren van Harinxma)

This was our second year we went from Belgium to this hotel in the North of Holland. There are a number of things that stand out that made us go back here : 1) it's a very nice hotel in a very tranquil and peaceful environment, easy to access. It's located 3K from the highway 2) The hotel staff is very professional and skilled. 3) The restaurant in the hotel is the only in Friesland with Michelin star. You can walk from your hotel room straight into the restaurant and back within seconds. 4) The golfcourse just next door is excellent. Probably the only thing still to mention is that it is not cheap. However for us to make the journey once a year, yes please, see you all in 2025.

Landgoed Lauswolt is an old mansion with modern comfort and an exquise kitchen, which is awarded a Michelin Star. It is surrounded by gardens and forests and it has a 18 hole golf course. We come here every year and we are always welcomed as old friends. The service is superior. This is a great place to relax and we would recommend it to everyone.
