Hotel Lakeview

It was too far from the ooty town and narrow roads, the restaurant was average. Maintenance not bad, room keeping was wrist

It is a good property with lots of rooms. However, it is old, which is clearly felt in the room, furniture, lighting, etc. There is a small play area for kids. They don't have complimentary breakfast. View from our room was wall of another room and that was disappointing.

Firstly, the hotel's name is misleading; there is no actual view of the lake from any of the rooms, which deceives guests under the guise of a "lakeview" hotel. I thoroughly explored the entire premises, and not a single vantage point offers a glimpse of the lake, indicating a lack of transparency. Secondly, despite the booking stating that breakfast was complimentary, upon arrival for breakfast, i was informed that it was not included, and i had to pay for what i consumed. Thirdly, all food items are excessively priced and do not justify their cost. The taste and quality of the food are well below average, bordering on poor. The room and location of the hotel are satisfactory. However, the hotel staff requires a complete overhaul. They lack the skills to communicate effectively with customers, to treat them with respect, and to address their queries appropriately. The staff's behavior demonstrates a lack of ***ners and etiquette expected in the hospitality industry. They seem solely focused on overcharging customers for every service, from water to a simple cup of tea. Their harsh and indifferent attitude is why i would not recommend this hotel to anyone. They prioritize charging customers over providing quality service.

It was a good stay. We were in group enjoyed a lot. Hotel staff was nice, highly recommend thier brakefast.

Good property, good location. All the staff are helpful. The house keeping service improved compared to my last trip. They are very helpful

Pros- separate cottages with a nice hall, bedroom, balcony and sit out area, a nice garden near reception for taking pictures, location near the lake. Cons- name is misleading. No good view of the lake. Bathroom is slippery and looks local. Housekeeping services are not good. They do not make our rooms when we ask or when we go out. It was done only after 3 pm. Restaurant doesn't have enough persons to take orders or serve. No good restaurants nearby too. Swiggy is available for lunch but not for dinner. Even if they come, they ask for extra money. Kids play area is not well maintained.

The hotel is in a good location and maintenance is good. The play area for kids is well maintained. Food prices are a little higher and no shops are nearby
