Good staff Happy place At the time of online booking staff were not up to the mark. Service staffs were really nice and the play area and it's staff was wonderful and well manered

We had a great time. The hospitality was excellent. In the front office executive there is Naveen , he was so accommodating and friendly. He guided and helped on everything. Things were so easy to manage with his support. The rooms and food is decent and clean.

My stay at Sinclairs Hotel in Ooty was truly memorable, and a big part of that experience was the outstanding service provided by the Food & Beverage team. From the moment we arrived, the front office staff made us feel warmly welcomed with their attentive and courteous approach. Under the excellent leadership of Manager Aritra, the team operated with great coordination and professionalism.A special mention to Chef Subhankar for the delicious and well-presented dishes—every meal was a delight and clearly prepared with passion and expertise. The service team, including Nurjamal (Sr. GS), Nilesh (Sr. GS), Irshad (Sr. GS), Kim, and Pinky, were consistently polite, attentive, and eager to help. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail truly stood out. What impressed us most was their willingness to go the extra mile—whether it was accommodating special requests or ensuring everything was just right, they made our dining experience exceptional. A heartfelt thank you to the entire F&B team and front office team for making our stay so enjoyable. Their dedication added a special touch to our visit, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ooty. Looking forward to visiting again

I had a wonderful experience at Sinclairs Retreat Ooty. The hotel is surrounded by the vibrant greenery of the Nilgiri Hills, making for a truly picturesque stay. The property features well-furnished rooms across various categories, complemented by great amenities like a gym and a dedicated games area for leisure. The overall decor gives the property gives it a charming heritage look. From the smooth check-in process to the tasty variety of food at the restaurant, everything was handled with care by the professional and well-behaved staff. While its distance from the city centre might be a challenge for some, the off-beat location is actually its greatest asset—offering a peaceful atmosphere and spectacular views. It was a wonderful stay; highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy nature and a peaceful getaway.

We chose this hotel based on positive Google reviews,but our experience from April 28th to May 1st was deeply disappointing. Upon arrival,we were given a room on the third floor that had a very unpleasant odour. While the staff did move us to the second floor, the lock on the new room was broken,creating a safety concern. Furthermore,despite our package explicitly including free Wi-Fi, the service was completely unavailable for an entire day of our stay. To make matters worse, the service at the front desk was unacceptable. The receptionist was consistently rude, dismissive,and appeared angry whenever we approached with a question.

Nice place amazing view The team specially Ms Prema Mr Prasanjeet. Sumant and Kartik were very helpful and nice. They maintained a good hygiene as well
