L’Adriatic è un hotel di grandi dimensioni che sorge sul lungomare, nella zona centrale della località di Abbazia. Ho pernottato qui per tre notti a fine aprile e pur non essendo una tipologia di struttura che prediligo, nel complesso giudico l’esperienza positivamente. La camera che mi è stata assegnata si è rivelata molto spaziosa ed anche il bagno comodo e dotato di tutti gli accessori, purtroppo niente balcone e niente vista mare. I buffet allestiti per la colazione e per la cena offrono un’ampia scelta di pietanze e mediamente una discreta qualità, servizio efficiente, personale cortese e disponibile. Parti comuni molto scenografiche, bar con musica dal vivo nella hall. Utilizzato come base per un tour dell’Istria, valuto questa sistemazione come soddisfacente.

There is just the beautiful lobby. The service is rotten, the rooms are not clean and the air conditioning does not work… bathroom problem… nothing is right there are hairs in our sheets. I go to reception and no one solves the problem. This is really the first and last time we come here. We travel a lot and this has never happened to us.

Hi everyone I ride from Amsterdam to Croatia and Booked this hotel for one night stay. Soon as the checking everything was fine we felt welcomed and the staff was very professional. Barbara the front office agent explained us everything we need to know about the hotel and surrounding areas. The room the spa and the breakfast were all great, unfortunately the next day the spa was out of order. But Barbara send a champagne to our room for an apology and as an compensation and she even went a step further and helped us with some additional compensation And she made sure that we left the hotel in a good mood. Would definitely recommend and I hope I'll be back soon !

The hotel is in a great location with a view of the sea and a short walk to the center of Opatija. It is very well maintained and clean. The breakfast and evening buffet are amazing. The spa area and the trea**ents are simply amazing. The hotel is highly recommended.

I didn't even manage to stay at this place because the hotel canceled my reservation seven days after I paid and few days before our arrival date. I had already bought the plane tickets which have now gone to waste. There was no apology,no explanation at all. The message I received was only that the hotel won't be open for my selected dates. Interestingly, Booking says they're sold out - I guess they wanted to give my reservation to a more important guest. Still waiting to see if I'll get my money back.

Fantastic clean and welcoming hotel with everything you need.... Staff always available and very kind. I will definitely return. The beautiful large swimming pools and the saunas with a super view 👌

there are two hotels in the same location' I was gest at "Grand Hotel Adriatic I" the 4 star hotel. I stayed at the hotel, the hotel is beautiful and nice, but during the vacation I tripped on an invisible slope in the floor near the elevator, the light bulbs were burned out and the place was very dark, one of the staff members offered help, I broke my leg and was rushed to the orthopedic depar**ent where I was casted and then flown back to my country, the management took responsibility however She did not apologize or compensate in any way, even in the slightest. I spent two months at home without being able to move around, just a shame, the hotel is definitely not recommended!

We booked this hotel for 12 nights in high season. We wanted a nice hotel for our honeymoon. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with this. I would rate the hotel as very average. And would certainly not recommend this hotel. The service was lacking. The manager of the hotel does not keep her agreements and was extremely unfriendly. Agreements were not noted down and we had to tell our story again and again to a different employee. The first night we slept without air conditioning (in August!) because it was defective and there was no technical service available. We then received a so-called 'upgrade' to another room the next day. This room was even less so, because we had a view of the parking lot instead of a sea view. And that for a room of over €300 per night! The breakfast was good, but very massive, you have to like that. Parking cost €20 per day. There was little parking and the parking spaces were very narrow. The pool is across the street and crowded. So you have to reserve your 'bed' early. The price-quality ratio is not good.
