Un hôtel de caractère qui vous emmène au début du 20e siècle grâce à une décoration qui rappelle celle des grandes maisons bourgeoises où on allait en vacances. Quant au restaurant, Andrzej Klimek est un chef talentueux. Il a fait ses classes chez Gordon Ramsay et à œuvrer au "Roastit Bublly Jocks" à Glascow. C'est dans une salle à manger, qui restitue l'a**osphère d'un intérieur du début du XXe siècle, qu'il propose un menu épuré et plein d'imagination comme l'Eton Mess dont la Chantilly à la fraise rappelle bien l'origine de ce dessert qui veut que lors d'un match de cricket à l'Université d'Eton, un convive se soit assis sur une Pavlova mélangeant tous les ingrédients. Il a donc bien incorporé les fraises.... P.S. : il manque la musique des années 1920-1930 qui semble sortir d'un gramophone...

Very nice place with nice a**osphere! But! Beware that the reception is not staffed and if you arrive late you will not get in because the gate is locked. I was very lucky and the guard saw me. No one answers the phone in the evening or the intercom. In addition, you don't live in the castle itself, but in an Amex on the side. Quite far outside.

Hotellet verkar inriktat på bröllop och större tillställningar. Vi saknade en salong med bar där man kunde slå sig ner med en kopp kaffe eller en öl i sköna soffor. Omgivningen var också tråkig. Frukosten stod framme i en tråkig matsal och verkade att ha stått framme i flera timmar trots att man hade frågat när vi ville äta. Vi såg inga andra gäster och ingen personal.
Restaurangen där vi åt en meny på kvällen var dock bra. God mat trevlig miljö och personal.

It was a great stay, though the whole place is far away from anything.. And the onsite restaurant wasn't the best, given the expectation they've built around it definitely i would chose to dine somewhere else

We spent the night in dozens of manors, castles and palaces. This one receives the highest marks from us for respect for the place and its history. A book about the manor house, photos of the former owners is a great thing. Both ladies who served us deserve praise, great committed staff is also a treasure. Breakfast very good, dinner also. Stylishly furnished rooms.
