The hotel has a very prime location. Just a step out and you are in front of the beach and a long street of food joints.The rooms are in very good shape but the windows just face other room windows, which may put off some people.
The worst part of the stay was, that the parking is exorbitantly expensive 13 EUR per day (which is not clear during booking). The reception also does not look very welcoming.

De chauffeur was uitstekend en erg ervaren, het hotel genaamd "Crikvenica" in Kroatië was goed wat betreft de hotelkamer maar het diner 's avonds viel erg tegen, veel hetzelfde elke dag en erg smakeloos, en dit is niet wat men verwacht van een 4 sterren hotel!

The Hotel Crikvenica (4 stars!) is located in the pedestrian zone in a central location. It looks modern and has been renovated. The breakfast buffet was positive, which was quite good for Croatia. The negative was the lack of room cleaning and cleanliness, especially in the bathrooms. The toilet was dirty with hair and other residues, the bathroom looked sloppy. I complained to reception - the only response was "there is no chambermaid there anymore - I'll make a note of it". The following day, no apology of any kind. The corridors also look dirty in places. But the even worse problem is the noise. A nightclub or disco plays loud music until the early hours. The pass blares despite the windows being closed and sleeping is impossible. Parking is only possible outside.

We stayed here for 5 days at the beginning of August 2021, the room was slightly on the small side but fully kitted out. Breakfast had a great choice, I must give great credit to the two male waiters who helped my husband on the first morning. He has Parkinson’s and had a freezing episode and couldn’t move, the two guys were great in helping him to stand and get on his mobility scooter, they really went above and beyond. As did Dora the receptionist, nothing was too much trouble for her in helping us out. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again with such lovely, helpful people

Hotel in the center and new, nice and clean rooms but too small and without courtesy gadgets such as soap, shampoo. Solarium opening hours only until 8pm, somewhat limited. Wi-Fi that you keep betting but it only happened to my device so maybe it was my problem. Convenient as they manage the parking for you for only €13 per night. Really good breakfast with choices of all kinds. Checkout was a little slow with the receptionists not considering us and speaking their language.

Location is convenient as it is right by the water with lots of beautiful beaches within walking distance. Restaurant service was friendly, efficient and food was fine with good menu choice. Food is excellent; buffet breakfast with all you need to start your day. Awesome staff; very professional and communicate clearly. Room was very clean, quiet and comfortable with a very beautiful view (5th floor).
