Fantastic hotel!

This is a 4 stsr + in the making. We loved it. The pluses far outway any negatives. The public area of the hotel dining, bars, pool, huge amount of loungers, hot tubs, beach, all the surrounding area are spacious and well thought out and are fantastic . The staff were great friendly and always helpful. The credit you receive works brilliantly and can be used for almost everything, food and drink mainly. The breakfast is fantastic, but any food after that is hit and miss maybe 50/50 thats not good enough. We had a seaveiw M room/balcony although with the trees not much sea to see. The bedrooms are a little small but we were there a week and it worked out absolutely fine. The bathrooms are small but with excellent showers. I really don't understand why music has to be played all day long. Some of it was very good. but come on, not all your guests are 20 somethings. I love music, but I also come to relax and read. The beach area is lovely. But I was sick of people putting towels on beds and not turning up for hours to use them. This is a big No and should be stopped. I found all the staff fantastic, good fun ,friendly, very helpful and good sense of humour. With the little tweaks I highlighted , this would be a really really fantastic hotel. We loved it even with the minor faults and we will stay again when back in Starigrad. One more thing, this was one of the most relaxing hotels we have stayed in, you seemed to float in and out with ease, and spend time there that we wouldn't normally spend in hotels . Looking forward to returning.

Hands down the best hotel we have ever stayed in! We usually don’t go the same place twice as I feel there are too many places to explore however I have already emailed to check availability for next year. Everything about the hotel is amazing! From the comfiest beds, to the food, the soup/bread and salad you can help yourself too all day and the cocktails are really nice! Stari grad is just a 15 minute walk and is so beautiful. We went in June so was no issue getting a sun bed and the jacuzzis was always empty The only thing I would say is the showers are very very small!

Really pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms are great with all amenities provided. The pool areas, availability of loungers and beds is great and all of the staff are friendly and accommodating. Perhaps the best initiative during our stay was the flexi system which allowed for the use of food and drink credits throughout the day. A great system that worked flawlessly. We used the hotel shuttle service to visit Hvar town (approximately 25 minutes). A really nice hotel that we highly recommend.

Have stayed at Hvar Places hotel twice now. Recently this month, and previously September 2021. Both times have been lovely, we have had a great time! A few reasons why not rated 5 stars due to the rooms being small and the fact that they charge you for the cabanas/ sunbeds by the sea which I don’t feel is fair for hotel guests, But otherwise love this hotel! The food is good, breakfast & lunch/ dinner! LOVE the way they organise the half board, based on credit - so breakfast buffet included and then you get credit which generally gets you lunch or dinner plus a cocktail or two per person. It works well because if you’re out daytime, you can use it on dinner, or if out in the evening you can use your credit on lunch instead - it’s super flexible which is great! And if you don’t use all your credit one day it just rolls over to the following day until you check out. This is the only hotel I have ever been to that has done this and it works really well. I wish more hotels did this! Love the vibe of the hotel, very boho, relaxing chill vibes - cabanas and sunbeds aswell as a shaded area with bean bags, comfy areas. Although it’s not strictly adults only - hardly any kids there due to probably the adult feel of the hotel. Wish the rooms were bigger and they wouldn’t charge for sunbeds/ cabanas on the area by the sea They offer a shuttle service to and from hvar town multiple times throughout the day, which is handy and cheaper than a standard taxi. You have to book these at reception. You can also book excursions with reception, we got quad bikes and explored the island through the hotel which I HIGHLY recommend. We also did the organised bike tour around Stari grad too which we liked! Short 10-15 min walk to the local town stari grad which is beautiful with lovely restaurants and harbour. Friendly staff at the hotel! Would recommend!
