Golden Rock Dive and Nature Resort

What a fantstic stay at the Golden Rock Resort.The property is spacious,well maintained and offers great mix of relaxation and activities. On arrival you are welcome with Rum cocktail and white scented face towels. The facility really stands out.The pools are perfect for cooling off and relaxing and the gym is well equipped for keeping up workouts while away. It has a padel court which was a plus for sport lovers. Getting around the property is easy and fun thanks to the littke train that transport guests around a thoughtful touch especially on warmer days. To add cherry on the cake,staff are very responsive and warm that gives a nice feeling.Victor from the front desk is a special staff.He is too good and had right attitude for his work. Bobbles was open so we had a chance have dinner down by the beach.What a nice feeling.

Have frequently visited this property and I can all say that it is paradise in Caribbean. Lovely staff like Victor and Farheen at the front desk makes it even more homely feeling. Victor has a great customer service and cares a lot for the guests in this resort. The rooms are very comfortable and overlooking the ocean. Restaurants are very nice and varied food every day

Statia is a quiet island that hides one of the most excellent experiences in the Caribbean. As divers, I was amazed at the close integration between hotel and dive shop, making the process from check in to check out with our gear super easy. The food was very good. We especially enjoyed the menu at Breeze, with open air seating and excellent service. We were actually sad to say farewell to the gracious waitstaff and the hospitality Manager, whose visit to our nightly table we looked forward to. You can tell the resort is growing. We all joked that in five years it will be too good for us. We had the pool to ourselves a few days and none of the venue was crowded. It is currently on a dirt road (which was the only strange part of the trip) but once inside it was a thoroughly modern and upscale environment. Combined with diving in the morning it was a great juxtaposition between relaxation and activity. The villa room was spacious and comfortable. We could stretch out and relax , watching our favorite World Cup games in the living room when taking a break. The in room amenities were comfortable and the service staff were able to zip in the clean the room while we were diving or at the pool. The layout is expansive, you ride a train around the property to many of the different amenities. I would love an even larger group next time, as there would be a lot we could all do and share together. In sum, it exceeded our expectations. We all are aligning our schedules to come back again soon, with a larger group. It was truly a unique and special vacation for us and will be for you as well.

I highly recommend this resort. The rooms were spacious, modern and clean. I loved that this is a very eco-conscious property, with a solar energy system that removes almost all their dependence on the grid, a large greenhouse to grow vegies and herbs for their restaurants and their own laying chickens. Water is fit to drink from the tap due to their reverse osmosis filtration system. The resort was quite except for the soothing sounds of wind rustling through their abundant foliage. Food at both of their restaurants was great and rides to restaurants off site were easy to arrange.

I don’t know how you could rate this resort less than a 5/5. When we stayed it felt like we almost had the place to ourselves. We ate at both Bobbie’s and Breeze multiple times, and always had a great meal and great service. The grounds are immaculate and our room was perfect. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

Very clean room and resort. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast included was helpful and the menu offered good variety. The deep tissue massage was an amazing experience.

We have just spent one week there . The rooms are comfortable and the diving center team are very kind and professional . But the service at restaurant is poor : always vey long …, not very welcoming … often when we asked for something we felt that we bored them ( Caribbean style ???) … the food has been always the same along the week , without taste … full of fat and sugar ( American style perhaps but we are French and it is not what we look for …) . It is not aligned with a 5 star claimed status … we were hoping a quit place but it is relatively noisy with music always , even in the garden or around the swimming pool … Even a few time we wish to order drinks from the menu which were not available … It’s more a “ vacation club” than a quiet 5 stars charming resort Not so bad but disappointing and not aligned with what has been promoted to us and with our expectations

When i come to golden rock Victor always treats me like Royalty always amazing service, making sure i am good etc. I was suprised the Ribeye wasnt on the menu in Breeze anymore but they moved it Bobbys where it was amazing as always! And ofcourse the room was clean

The hotel grounds are absolutely stunning. It’s clear they’ve invested in self-sustainability, which was beautiful to see. The views? Absolutely breathtaking. The room décor was gorgeous and clearly well thought out. We stayed in the cottages and while lovely, there were some visible cracks in the ceilings. Now… we really need to talk about Gio. From start to finish, he was the true star of our stay. Gio knows hospitality. He made us feel the warmth of the islands from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. He’s genuine, he’s kind, and he clearly does what he does out of love and not just because it’s his job. Without Gio, our rating for the hotel would not have been as high. He is a gem in every sense of the word, and the resort is lucky to have him. MAKE SURE TO ASK FOR HIM. YOU WON'T REGRET IT. He really does care about you enjoying your stay to the fullest. The restaurant: Honestly, the portion sizes did not match the price, and the flavors were just… average. The service left a lot to be desired and the waitresses had a less-than-friendly attitude and lacked basic customer service skills. That said, Joviela was the rose among the thorns. She greeted us with warmth and a smile every time, and we appreciated her presence. The restaurant got a 2 star rating because of its views. Special mention to a gentleman from Trinidad who worked the restaurant in the evenings, we assumed he was likely the host or supervisor. We didn’t catch his name, but he was fantastic: warm, professional, and made us feel truly welcome. In closing, I would for sure return to the hotel and would recommend to others.
