Rubén and Magna were the perfect hosts, kind, helpful and attentive. They are artists who make your stay magical and personal. My wife turned 62 during our stay and they surprised her with an almond birthday cake with candles baked by Ruben’s father Orba’s baker. Each breakfast was delicious and presented with flat and detail that showed Orba and Spain at its best. A stay we will not soon forget and hosts that will remain in our hearts forever.

Perfecto para una escapada. La atención de Rubén en el asesoramiento es impresionante, antes de hospedarnos nos informó con detalle y rapidez. Nos recomendó la experiencia Gastronomía y desde luego que fue un acierto de principio a fin, además también nos recomendó lugar a visitar, donde comer y rutas de senderismo.

Hemos tenido una escapadita romantica en este hotel de maravilla. Mientras Valencia estaba llena del ruido de Las Fallas, en Orba hemos encontrado silencio y paz total. Un pequeño hotel rural con el diseño moderno y muy detallista. Habitación está completa, incluso tiene hervidor, cafetera (con cápsulas de café, azúcar, sacarina y etc), vasos, tazas y todo lo necesario. En la cama del habitación hemos encontrado las bombones y flores. La cena y el desayuno son riquísimos. Tartar de atún tiene un sabor espectacular. Rubén, hace muy buen servicio, con mucho respeto y mucho atención. Muy recomendable!

Heerlijk genoten van de plek en omgeving. Door de eigenaren elke dag enorm goed geholpen met verschillende plekjes om heen te gaan en lekker te eten. Het ontbijt was elke dag erg persoonlijk en wisselend om de persoonlijke touch eraan te bieden. Bedankt Ruben en Magda!

A truly amazing small boutique hotel. Nestled in a lovely street with fabulous Mountain View’s. The room was immaculate, the staff excellent and so helpful. Loved the roof terrace with hot tub. Will definitely return and would absolutely recommend.

Friendly little hotel in a beautiful little village of Orba, Ruben greeted us and was very friendly, the room was modern and spotlessly clean, the views from the roof terrace are fabulous, there was a mini bar with several free courtesy drinks hot & cold, downstairs was a comfortable lounge area with a honestly bar with a good selection of wines, beer & spirits and soft drinks, Magda served us breakfast in the morning and she was very nice and made us feel welcome, the breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, scrambled eggs with black pudding and tomato, toast and other breads & fresh orange juice & very nice coffee, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning again to this charming homely feel hotel in a beautiful setting.

We stayed here on a weekend getaway. The hotel is in a small village in the foothills of the nearby mountains, a thirty minute drive from the the Costa Blanca beaches. Situated in a renovated townhouse with modern, artistic flourishes, it has a well stocked bar with nice wine and craft beer selections, which was a welcome diversion on arrival. Our favorite aspect was probably the terrace - a great spot for a glass of wine in the evening as well as to enjoy the outstanding continental breakfast in the morning. As others have said, Rubén is an accommodating and attentive host and he was there to help with all questions, great and small. Mardenit’s slogan is ‘rural and modern’ and it really struck the perfect balance.

Excellent Boutique Hotel with modern, cosy and designed rooms. Excellent breakfast with fresh local food. Great personal service from the owners. Highly recommended! Get the room with terrace and magnificent view.
