Not your typical hotel. It is a traditional Indian style like palaces or temples. All one story with 2 courtyards, one with lovely landscaped garden and one with the large swimming pool. The rooms are spacious enough as are the bathrooms. Not luxurious in the modern sense, but totally charming with lovely covered walkways.

Un hotel con mucho encanto, diseñado al estilo colonial, tanto las instalaciones interiores, como los jardines y piscina son espectaculares, las vistas a uno de los templos de Orchha, la ubicación es genial, tranquila, a 3 minutos andando del Ghat y uno de los templos principales, y a 10 min andando del casco antiguo donde están el resto de templos. Los empleados muy serviciales y simpáticos. El desayuno bueno, nada del otro mundo, pero aceptable. El baño al estilo occidental, con mampara, grande, no se moja todo como en muchos hoteles que te encuentras en la India. Habitaciones grandes, limpias y cómodas. La cama de matrimonio un poco alta pero cómoda. Aire acondicionado y ventiladores funcionaban bien.

We stayed at the amar mahal for one night in october. The hotel is located very close to the royal chattris. The landscaping inside is quite immaculate and pleasing to the eyes. Our room was big and spacious. The bed was quite unique and at quite a height. They should provide a stool of some kind for children and elderly people to get on to the bed, otherwise they might find it challenging. The food served at the restaurant was tasty, particularly kebabs and chutneys and the staff was quite courteous. Overall a pleasant and comfortable stay.

Hotel amar mahal is very descent property its location just near shree ramraja temple and betwa river beautiful location but food price is very high and room services very delay. .

Probably the best hotel in Orchha town. Location is Central and all attractions are within 2-5 km radius. Huge property tastefully built to give palace like feeling. We found the staff well-mannered and nice especially the dinning room staffs. Our room was upgraded due to MakemyTrip Black and it was awesome considering the price we paid.

Good in everything. They should make a floor door barrier so that earthworms should not enter the room, as my son got little overwhelmed with that.
