Fantastic hotel.

Noise in the morning outside due to some Muslim pray
Will I return to that hotel? Yes, but without ask for any extras.
We ask for a car service from the airport , we paid double of the normal price. (Later, we compared different GRAB driver and travel agents)

We had our quality rest here, the bed is comfortable and love the compliment snacks. We love the ambience of the lighting. And as well as strong water pressure to wash away all the fatigue. Tasteful interior with historical background, we enjoy our stay here!

The room is very clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Near la regina for italian foods and placed at the heart of Malang.

This hotel is the biggest highlight of this trip to Indonesia, I really love it! The hotel's Italian restaurant is fantastic! The facilities and services are comprehensive, and breakfast was specially prepared for us on the night we went to the volcano!

Staying at the Shalimar hotel was an extraordinary experience. The rooms are comfortable, clean and complete with facilities, including typical Malang snacks provided in the room.
The breakfast menu also has a lot of variety and is delicious. The hotel is not spacious but cool. Unfortunately the car park is not large enough. Overall, the Shalimar hotel is highly recommended as a choice to stay in Malang city.

Located near to the centre this is a special colonial style boutique hotel. Really friendly staff who want to help and make the effort to make your stay good. Really good rooms, really plentiful breakfast with many options both Western and Asian. Free water, apple juice and snacks left in the room daily to make this a boutique hotel. Do not hesitate to book as it's a short Grab taxi ride for £1 to anywhere. Also very good Javan restaurant on site.

it's very nice hotel. Especially MS Dwi Tyas is very nice and friendly. Beautiful lighting Good atmosphere, the service staffs are very kind and sweet. House keeping is very clean and warm. If the elevator could go every floor will be better. If possible, add a handle in the bathroom. It is less likely to fall when you step out of the bathtub after taking a bath.

A superb experience at this hotel. The breakfast stood out for the service and the variety of healthy foods. We particularly liked the quality of the local Indonesian cuisine. We want to particularly mention the excellent service provided by Vina.

This hotel has modern touch. I like how room's decoration makes it looks fresh, clean and breathable. Pool area is well maintained and clean, not crowded with easy access to towel and shower. Bathroom is wide and there was a hairtie in the shower cap kit, what a nice toughtful idea, its brilliant. Breakfast was varied, food tasted good, they had good fresh milk, good waffles, and basically good everything. Good attention to detail. One thing I'd think could be improved, I wish they had more eco friendly bathroom kits. I noticed they wrap the glass in the bathroom with plastic. Overall we had nice stay and definitely will return one day.

This is a beautiful building. Although the facilities are a bit old, it is understandable as it is a historical monument. Special thanks to Ms. Tyas, who helped me book a group room and gave me the fastest check-in process. The breakfast was delicious, especially the soup. Every day a female manager kindly came to ask if we wanted to have soup and served it to us personally.

We are here for the iftar, the buffet are very nice, good variety of food ( midle east and indonesian ) i tried the Soto Betawi is a bit different looks from what i have in different place, look like not use the coconut, but suprisingly it very nice. I love the staff everyone is warm and helpful, because to excited i forgot to take a picture. For iftar here, people should try!!!! Thank you

Had a pleasant stay for business trip for 2 days. Very friendly, helpful and informative receptionists (all male and female staff at the reception desk with brown uniform) & very helpful house keeping services. I do however experienced a little bit of weird vibes with most of the female staff (those with dark uniform) and the security where they don't smile/greet towards the guess or seems to be hesitate to greet, even when I greeted them first. As vehicles are parked outside (curbside parking) I may suggest those who drive to prepare your own umbrella during rainy season as the security will just stand and watching your getting poured and wet as you walk out of your car to get to the lobby. But overall, I had a pleasant stay despite one or two uncomfortable situation.
