Hotels Near Cross Sëurasas in Ortisei

The hotel is not in the main town of Santa Christina. It is thankfully just off the main Val Gardena road, which is so busy you almost want to call it a highway. Matt was very nice and informative and helpful. The restaurant staff were lovely. Breakfast is very good and the restaurant food is very good. The rooms are TINY! And only one pillow per person and they are so tiny . Also the bath towels feel threadbare! We were in a so-called triple room, but it's actually a TINY double room with a third bed shoved in. Considering the fact that you ski there, there is one TINY cupboard for 3 occupants with winter clothing! The bathroom has a tiny glass ledge for three people to share! Also, there is no tea and coffee making facilities in the room as there is no space. Our room had no view. We looked into a wall. Wifi was not great. You have to pay E5 to wash your laundry and another E5 to use the tumble drier. To get to the laundry room, you have to walk outside in the snow! Then walk through the smelly ski boot room!

My husband and I stayed here for four nights recently, and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. It was far enough away from Ortisei to be quiet, but close enough to be walkable. We walked to the two lifts in town and that worked well. Our room was large and clean and had a really nice balcony that overlooked the town, and the sound of the river was nice to hear at night. The people who work there were very helpful and friendly, particularly the woman who does the breakfast buffet and makes the coffee to order (Alina?), and the woman who runs the front desk. I loved the Val Gardena part of the Dolomites and would absolutely return someday and stay here. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about this hotel. It was by far our favorite hotel of the five hotels we stayed in during our trip to Italy.

This was our second stay at the Adler (last time was the Balance half of the hotel). We really like this place. The rooms are rustic but roomy and good plugs availability. The view of the mountains are great. And I enjoyed the church bells going off. Wi-Fi is good but they now have a limit on devices which isn’t great. It is odd that the hotel doesn’t offer use if an iron and only offers ironing service that can take 48 hours. It seems an easy fix to offer irons and an ironing board like 99% of hotels do. The spa at the hotel is wonderful. With multiple pools and saunas. I really like the lakeside sauna as it’s got great views and the only hot hot sauna. I wish they were textile optional instead of textile free. The gym/ fitness area is great. Lots of cardio equipment, weights, a yoga room, and any equipment you need. The resident cat might be my favorite perk of the hotel. But I really enjoy the daily activity options. Great group activities and a perfect way to explore the amazing Dolomites. Breakfast is good. Mostly buffet options with pretty much anything you want - breads, eggs, pancakes, waffles, muesli, yogurt, fruit, juices, and coffee/etc to order. Dinners are tasty. I like the salad bar and the regional options. The dessert options were the most impressive. The wine list is comprehensive and includes a good variety of wines. The team is always helpful and friendly. The hike guides are great. It would be nice if they would maybe have an advanced and then a beginner option (like the ski guides). The location is perfect It’s a super short walk to two gondolas to two areas of the mountains. I Also close to many shops and restaurants. It’s a great place to enjoy the holidays and I can’t wait to go back in the summer. And of course visit the cat. 🐈‍⬛

The best hotel I have ever stayed at. The pictures do not do it justice. Everything was better than I expected from the friendly staff to the fantastic breakfast spread. I only wish I had taken advantage of some of the planned activities, and had dinner one night at the hotel, but we had already made other plans. We asked for a room with a balcony and loved sitting out and watching the mountains. It is central to absolutely everything and a short stroll to restaurants and shops and of course the lifts up to the mountains. The spa facilities were beautiful and comfortable, I wish they stayed open just a little longer, but I was still able to use them after a long hike. After we checked out at ten the hotel let us store our bags so we could go up one more cable car. Keep in mind that the transit pass provided does not include the chairlift/cable cars (get a three day Valgardena pass that’s good for all the chairlifts), but it will get you a free train or bus ride back to anywhere is in South Tyrol which for us was a bus to Ponte Gardena then a train to Benner. We had an amazing week here - faultless from start to finish. We stayed in the B&B paying for full access to the hotel facilities and half board. Rooms were spotless and super comfortable. The hotel spa and pool area just lovely and everyone looked forward to a swim in the outdoor pool after skiing. Super convenient for the slopes and added bonus of shuttle bus if you didn’t want to walk. Call them at the end of the day to pick you up from the lifts too. The food was delicious and varied every night - catering for all different dietary needs within our group. Icing on the cake were the exceptionally friendly staff who could not do enough to make the stay as wonderful as possible. The bar area was lovely and social and a fabulous place to retire to for cake and a drink after skiing. We all loved it.

Very nice hotel , very nice team , good location , very good breakfast , cleaner was very good . But I had a problem in my room because every night above my room children’s were jumping and running so it was noise on my roof ( someone told me that there is the owners house ) . The hotel don’t have Transfer for the lifts . You have only one lift that is 8 min , the others are far away and way up . I had to pay a transfer to the lifts and it was 23 euro each way .

Excellent value hotel and a great location for exploring the Italian Alps. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The place was clean, cozy and incredibly warm, which was appreciated given the -9 degrees outside. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The buffet breakfast included in the price had a great variety of hot and cold food, good coffee, pastries, cakes and fresh fruit. Would gladly come back again.

The hotel is a clean and clean environment with a wonderful look on the valley of Fassa. You can sleep and have a nice breakfast. This is very kind to the owner and his staff. Simple but good atmosphere to spend a beautiful regenerating holiday. Very recommended.
