Far from the slopes, the structure needs a review, the food is good and clean despite the signs of aging. We were cold and they gave us an extra heater and blankets which we were comfortable with. They immediately replaced a vacuum cleaner. The bathroom is spotless but taking a shower without a curtain and in the tub is not comfortable. Doctor Silvia and Amer are very kind and are the reason why I gave three stars instead of two. Given the choice next time I would go elsewhere.

Our stay at Hotel Pontives was exceptional. The staff are incredibly friendly and the food at the restaurant was delicious. A great variety to choose from and very generous portions. They were even kind enough to pack us lunch to go upon check out. Location is great and close to many sites and amenities. I highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting the region.

The facilities are excellent value for money and the staff is very pleasant and efficient. Special requests are handled with great flexibility. The location is ideal for guests with cars who would like to use the very elaborate public buses from time to time as the bus stop is just around the corner.

I had already been to the restaurant in the past and remembering the good food I went back again this time and ate so well that for three evenings with my family we couldn't help but dine in this place. Characteristic place at the foot of the mountains, with a large square where some campers park. Staff more than friendly and professional. Excellent food: I recommend dumplings, goulash, Milanese cutlet, strudel... in any case every course is really good and, in my opinion, the cuisine can be considered among the best in all of Ortisei. Fair price: a restaurant to recommend and I hope to return on my next trip. Compliments to the chef and all the staff! S.D. from Perugia

I was there for 5 days, very nice breakfast, a small but clean room and bath with a window, very good breakfast, and extremely friendly staff. Quiet, nice view. A fantastic value for the price. Ample parking, Busstation to Ortisei very neea. Also good food for lunch and dinner. Fair prices.

Don't go with your dog! We had a four night stay there in June 2023 and were charged 80(!) Euros for our pooch's stay. I have no idea why? She didn't eat any of their food (not even a biscuit was offered), no dog bed was provided, she wasn't even allowed in the restaurant, she didn't break anything in the room. When I was presented with this on our bill, I queried it. I understood there to be a 20 Euros charge per visit but not per night. I was told that the room would need to be cleaned which I accept. But it wouldn't be 4 times dirtier than the first night after 4 nights. When I said that I was unhappy to pay this, I was threatened with being arrested by the police. Very good customer service I must say!! So when they say they are dog friendly, they are not. They are just out to get your money and fleece you for taking your dog to their hotel.

Old-fashioned hotel, a little outside the center and very convenient for getting around as the bus runs every 15 minutes right in front of the hotel. Excellent food, generous portions. The kindness of the staff, especially Martina, top marks. In short, nothing was missing for a perfect holiday!
