The OneFive Osaka Shinsekai

This was our very first stay after arriving in Osaka, and honestly, we picked this place randomly — but it ended up being one of the best decisions for our trip. The location was absolutely incredible. It’s right in the heart of Shinsekai, one of Osaka’s main attractions, and there was literally a festival happening downstairs during our stay. The atmosphere was lively and exciting the moment we stepped outside. One of the best things about staying here is the convenience. Just walk downstairs and you’ll find endless restaurants, shops, convenience stores, and things to explore nearby. For a first-time visit to Osaka, especially bringing my mom along, it was such a perfect and easy introduction to the city. The hotel itself was great, and the staff were incredibly hospitable and welcoming throughout our stay. Everyone had a great attitude and genuinely helped us whenever we needed anything. We enjoyed our stay so much that we actually decided to extend for an extra night. We also got the breakfast package, and it was honestly excellent. There was a huge variety of food including salmon, grilled fish, soups, curry, noodles, rice, salads, pastries, coffee, tea, juices, and more. It was a really satisfying way to start the mornings before heading out to explore Osaka. The hotel also provided basically everything you would need — toothbrushes, towels, washing sponges, and other amenities, which made the stay very comfortable and convenient. Another useful feature was the luggage storage area downstairs where you could securely lock your bags if you wanted to leave them for the day before checking in or after checking out. The only thing I felt was missing was a proper lobby or lounge area for guests to relax and rest in. Aside from that, everything else was excellent. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Osaka — families, couples, solo travelers, really anybody. For the location, convenience, hospitality, and overall value, it was an amazing stay and a fantastic way to begin our trip in Japan.

The hotel facilities and cleanliness are good, provided fridge, hair dryer and bathroom amenities. Check in was smooth, and the staff is proficient in English language and friendly. The location is very strategic in the Shinsekai area whereby alot of restaurants around. The tsutenkaku tower was very scenic from the window view too! Overall I'm satisfied with the 3nights stay here!

Location is very accessible! Just 5 mins walk and when you go down, everything is here. Food, transportation, shopping malls. Very convenient!

the hotel was clean and new. the location also strategic - walking distance from subway. they provide luggage storage since we arrive early and the check in time is at 0300pm. they also provide washing machine if u need to wash ur clothes.

The hotel is located near the Tsutenkaku tower. There are lots of restaurants, convenience stores and Don Quijote nearby. The rooms are spacious and clean. Wonderful experience in this hotel!

The service was very excellent! Room was simple enough for travellers who will be out and about for most parts of the day! It's conveniently located near Shinsekai area, with many izakayas you can choose from. Walking to popular destinations like tsutenkaku tower and tennoji zoo is possible! The walk from the subway was also very short (about 5 minutes)! However, the area where the hotel is located has a lot of heavy smokers! If you are sensitive to tobacco smoke, please be aware of this! This area also does not seem to be very family friendly so be aware if you are travelling with kids! The room is also too small to lay out two medium luggages unless you do it by the toilet! The toilet is also kind of narrow, which may be inconvenient for the elderly! Otherwise, I think the hotel is a great and cheap option!
