Hotel Vischio Osaka

The hotel is a ten-minute walk from the airport limousine bus stop, which was super convenient on the last day when my luggage was heavy. They even helped me load and unload my bags. The hotel's ground floor has a luggage scale and a microwave. Breakfast was delicious, especially the teppanyaki, fried vegetables, and pancakes. Across the street is the Grand Front mall, making it easy to shop at Muji and Uniqlo or grab a bite to eat.

The location and size are pretty good. It's less than a 10-minute walk from the Umeda business district and only a five-minute walk from where the airport bus drops you off. There are restaurants and a supermarket downstairs. The hotel provides pajamas, toiletries, and various skincare samples, so you really don't need to bring much of your own, which is very convenient.

The location is very convenient, with Grand Front Osaka and Yodobashi Camera just across the street. There's also a direct passage on the second floor connecting to various shopping malls. The triple room was great and, compared to other hotels in Japan, the room size was quite good. A pleasant experience overall.

They charged for three people, but the room only came with water and slippers for two (other hotels either provide three by default or offer an extra set when they see you have a child). When I called to ask for slippers, I was told I had to go to the front desk to pick them up myself. There's definitely room for improvement in the details.

The location is super convenient, with restaurants right downstairs and a mall across the street. We took the airport bus from Kansai Airport and got off directly opposite the hotel, which was very handy as it's the first stop. It's about a 5-minute walk from there. When heading back to the airport, it's roughly a 10-minute walk from the hotel to the bus station. The airport buses to Kansai Airport are frequent, running every 10 minutes, so there's no need to worry about missing one. Overall, it's great, and I'd definitely stay here again. The only minor downside is the 11 AM check-out time. Toiletries are available for self-service right by the elevator.

Pros: Location and Space - Prime Location: The hotel is situated in Osaka's Umeda shopping district – it's an absolute winner. Grand Front Osaka mall is just across the street, and it's a short walk to department stores like Yodobashi, Lucua, Hankyu, and Daimaru, making it a paradise for shoppers. - Convenient Transportation: It's about a 5-8 minute walk from JR Osaka Station, making it easy to get to Kyoto, Kobe, and Nara. Taking the airport limousine bus from Kansai Airport is also very convenient; it's about a 5-minute walk after getting off. - Relatively Spacious Rooms: In Umeda, Osaka, where space is at a premium, the rooms at Vischio are quite large. The bathroom also features a convenient separate three-fixture design.

The location is excellent. The airport shuttle bus stop is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. Directly across the street from the main lobby entrance is a large shopping mall, divided into North and South wings. The North wing has a huge Muji, and the South wing features many sports brands like Montbell, offering tax-free shopping. On the other opposite side is Yodobashi Camera, with a medium-sized supermarket in its basement, along with affordable brands like Uniqlo and Daiso. Further towards the station, you'll find Lucua, Daimaru, Hanshin, Hankyu, Hankyu Sanbangai, etc. It's super convenient for shopping, but not right in the noisy central station area. The room's cleanliness was a bit subpar, with some dust and a damp smell. The comforters also felt damp. In the triple room, one bed was slightly shorter. The mattress firmness was just right, and the service attitude was decent.
