I’m writing this after a lot of thought. I was bitten by what I suspect were bed bugs under my pajamas. The bites were in a triangular pattern. I contacted the accommodation after check-out, but they denied having any bed bugs.
I discovered the bites on my last day of the trip, and it completely ruined my vacation. Dealing with heat treating everything once I got home was a nightmare, and now I’m worried about bringing them into my house.

The common areas are cold. The front desk service is good. I couldn't figure out how to operate the hot water. I wish they'd let guests choose their own room assignments.

I really liked the ventilation in the capsule. It was cold in the hallway where the capsules are at night because the air conditioning was on. There were no odors, so the capsule itself felt fresh too. I'm not sure how the ventilation is set up, but I was pleased with it. The common area on, I think, the 10th floor was usually empty, so I could sit and eat alone, which I also liked.
After this, I stayed at a couple more capsule hostels in Japan, and this one was the best in terms of the capsule design and living area.
My only complaints were with the kitchen and cooking facilities. But for sleeping, it's an excellent option. The showers and toilets were great too.

I loved my stay here! Very clean and comfortable with lots of amenities. The location was great and the ‘capsule’ was roomier than I thought it would be. I had a great time. The only problem was the pillow was not very comfortable and the USB port was not working in my capsule. Everything else was fantastic.

Yesterda I stayed at Ace Capsule Hostel in Osaka, and it was a fantastic experience for anyone looking to try capsule-style accommodation, very good.
First and foremost, the entire place was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The capsule beds themselves were surprisingly comfortable, providing a cozy, private space that made it easy to get a great night's sleep after a long day of exploring the city.
What really stood out to me were the excellent amenities. The hostel truly thinks of everything to make your stay hassle-free. A major bonus was that they provide both a small towel and a big towel for guests, which is incredibly convenient and saved me from having to pack my own. The shower facilities and common areas were also spotless and fully stocked.
Between the comfort, the cleanliness, and the thoughtful perks, this hostel offers incredible value for budget travelers and solo backpackers in Osaka. The location was perfect ! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, comfortable, and classic Japanese capsule experience. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Osaka!
