I stayed at a long-established inn on the 4th floor. It was inconvenient to have to take the stairs to get to the second floor. There are some rooms that can be accessed by elevator from the first floor. The amenities are single-use items, so if you are particular about quantity and quality, you may want to bring your own. It's convenient as it's close to the nearest supermarket.

Although it is an old hotel, it has a quaint feel, and the staff was attentive and warm, making it a very nice hotel. We were given a corner room on the 4th floor of the annex building, and it was a nice Japanese-style room with a calm atmosphere reminiscent of the Showa era, with ocean views from two directions.However, the Wi-Fi signal seemed to be unstable except near the front desk. did. I stayed for two nights, and they prepared different meals for both nights, and they even accommodated my last-minute request for additional dishes. The bath was more beautiful in the morning and during the day than at night, and I felt more relaxed. When I go to Oshima again, I would like to stay here again.

It feels like time has stopped while the hotel was built during the good times of the Showa era. That's all well and good, but I don't think it's a good idea to keep everything old and dirty. This time we stayed in the old building, but the newer building is blocking the sea side, so the view was not good. If you stay in the old building, it is at least on the 5th floor, and I think the 6th floor, which is the top floor, is the best. Also, the old building has an elevator only from the 2nd floor, so it is not recommended for the elderly or those with walking difficulties. The room has a worn-out impression as a whole, and the air conditioner in particular is the type that is placed indoors, and I think it has been installed for more than 30 years. The refrigerator is covered with frost. The toilet is undeniably old. The bedding was new, so I was able to sleep comfortably. I made a reservation without meals, so I don't know about meals. The hot spring is a selling point, but it seems that it will be automatically locked at 11:00 pm, so be careful. We think that it is enough size if we say in scale of hotel. The indoor bath had hot water, but the open-air bath was lukewarm and seemed to catch a cold. Please note that the front desk opens at 7:30 am for check-out. I believe smoking is allowed in all rooms.

The bathroom is not a unit but a traditional bath with tiles, and the ventilation is not high. The large communal bath also has a hot spring from the shower. It's salty. Even after I went up, the hot spring was so gentle that I didn't need a moisturizer, so I went there in the morning and evening. There are not many meals in the morning and at night. Just right for women and children. Men may not be there. The menu will change after 2 nights. Breakfast was also a Japanese set meal. There are also picture books and manga for children in the lobby, and I read them in the room when the weather was bad. The staff were all kind. Especially when the ship was canceled, "Are you okay?" I was asked to go directly to the port at breakfast, so I was able to transfer safely. The man at the front desk feels unfriendly, but he answered the questions politely. I think the facility is old and needs improvement, but I thought it might be staffed.
