Best Hotels in Otahuhu, New Zealand

Overall good, but the space is smaller, it is worth the price, praise it.

Comfortable beds and good price for the family. High level traffic noise so need earplugs (in reception). Room servicing was inconsistent with only towels replaced. Tea was not on most days nor was rubbish emptied. Says seating area but only 2 dining chairs and a tiny table so really it's just beds.

We arrived at the Grange Motel very early in the day, before our room was ready. Staff instantly made us feel welcome, made me a coffee and let us use the restroom after our long flight. They made recommendations for how to spend our day and let us leave our car there while we explored Auckland (via Uber). When we returned, we asked for and received excellent dinner recommendations and, all on their own, they wrote a full page of ideas for things to do in another city we were planning to visit a few days later! The place was clean and quiet and perfect for our first night in NZ.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to make it but staff were very friendly and understanding. But I'm definitely going to rebook and stay here along with recommend to others.

I stayed at the property on the 5th February 2023, in Auckland for work. The checkin process was easy, the room was new, clean and pleasant But at 12.30am i was woken to somebody trying to get into my room. I thought they had the wrong room and would realise but then i heard the lock go and the door started to open which is when i jumped out of bed and stopped the person from coming through. He was standing there with a key in his hand and a bag. He said he thought the room was empty !!! In the morning i looked at the door handle and there was nowhere on the door that a key could be inserted they were opened with a card I reported this to the reception in the morning and told them to check the cameras in the building, the response i got back was not good enough and i was told there was a night porter on. I didn't see a night porter on the property If a guy can access my room in the middle of the night then that means that myself and my belongings were not safe at this property I sent them a follow up email last week and have heard nothing from them

Doesnt look much from the outside but the rooms have been nicely renovated and have everything you need for an over night stay (disregard the slept in beds!). Shared communal kitchen on the ground floor if you dont want to eat out. No elevator so if you dont like stairs ask for a ground floor unit. Walking distance to fast food restaurants and backs onto shopping centre with foodcourt kmart and countdown. 20 minutes or so from airport so close if you need a cheap overnight stay before or after a flight. 2 adults and 2 small children, room was big enough for us all and beds for everyone.

An elegant character villa, a good place for big family or group.. The house can host over 20 pps, if your group bigger than that, pls message us and disscuss the possibility. - 1000 sqm private garden. Everyone in big group will get her/his comfortable sleep. - walk to community dairy shop and pizza takeaway (Only 100 meters). - town center, shops, supermarket and restaurants can be reached within a 5-minute drive (2kms). - 8 km to AIRPORT, 10 mins - 16 km to CBD, 20 mins We have prepared basic living items in the house, including: radiators, blankets, bedding, bath towels, shampoo, shower gel, enough pots, cutlery, kettle, toaster, rice cooker, rubbish bag,iron,ironing board,hair dryer, etc....

Very convenient - shuttle pickup within 20 minutes of calling and also an efficient ride in the morning back to the airport. Very impressed by how the staff was able to balance all the customer requests given they seemed understaffed Facilities pretty basic but decent bar snacks as well
