Very clean and spacious (we took the Family room). The rooms and building looks relatively new. Very close to train station and Aeon. Convenient for a pitstop.

convenient with free shuttle bus. strongly recommend to stay.. however, the receptionist has weak command of English so there might be a little communication barrier and they do not seem helpful.

New and clean hotel. Close to the railroad so bring some earplugs. Worth the stay even with the noise of the train.

Short distance walk from train station. Thanks for the free transport provided to Kawaguchiko Lake.. Drivers are very courteous n helpful. Hotel staff are courteous too.

Booked this hotel for the Mount Fuji Marathon. I forgot to book Kawaguchiko accommodation early, and it was completely impossible to book two weeks in advance. Then I checked the Fuji Express route and chose Toyoko INN, which is very close to Otsuki Station. Later I found out that this hotel seems to be included in a package for the Mount Fuji Marathon. I booked a standard room for one person and was assigned to the 10th floor. The room was comfortable. The window was large and you could overlook Otsuki and enjoy the view from afar. There were yukatas in the room and the landline could set a wake-up service. The service at the front desk was also very considerate. You could exchange banknotes for coins so that you could use the coin-operated washing machines and dryers in the lobby. The hotel is about an 8-minute walk from the nearest 711, and there is also an AEON supermarket nearby, which is very convenient for replenishing supplies. Note that you need to cross the railway to get to the hotel from the station, and you have to wait for a few minutes when a train passes by. The earliest train to Kawaguchiko Station is around 6:50.

The hotel is large and has a large number of guests. It provides a buffet breakfast. The hotel staff is courteous. There is a free parking lot. It can be used as a resting point in the middle of Lake Kawaguchi. The scenic spot opposite the window is sunny. The price is affordable. Recommended! 

The room is large, well-planned, newly decorated, fully equipped, and has a good environment. It is clean and comfortable to stay in. The breakfast buffet is delicious.

After climbing Mount Fuji, I missed the last bus back to Tokyo. The reasonably priced accommodations near Mount Fuji were basically full. I found that the hotel at Otsuki Station was reasonably priced and it looked like a chain, so I had my first experience of staying at Toyoko Inn. I didn't have much expectation because it was a temporary hotel, but it was actually far beyond my expectations. The room was not big but very clean, and there was self-service ice, water, and vending machines with everything. Breakfast was included. Although it was not gorgeous, it was very healthy. And because of this, I also explored the small town of Otsuki, which was very comfortable and experienced a very comfortable "present"!
