Fairfield Inn & Suites Ottawa Starved Rock Area

Hot tub was down ad pool had no heater

the room was perfect and the location was near by to our activities. we would definitely stay again when in the area.

Convenient to the highway. Very clean. Easy to adjust the temperature. The person setting up for breakfast was extremely nice.

We stayed for two nights. Easy location and friendly staff. Room was super clean and lobby was spotless. Breakfast in the morning was good enough. Hot tub was fantastic after hiking days nearby. Our first room had a tv without internet, so we could not connect to Netflix, but the front desk moved us upon request and then all was good.

The staff was very kind, friendly and service was quick. Kathy who served the breakfast was so very nice, conversation was polite and very friendly and helpful. The property is very clean and decorated nicely for Christmas!! We will definitely stay here again

The staff were helpful and very pleasant, and the breakfast was generous. The cleanliness was top notch. The room was smaller than the photos indicated, and the mattresses were too soft, which made it difficult to get out of bed without falling. The bathroom could use a fan and more hooks.

The staff were all friendly and no one seemed like they were from other countries so very easy to understand and speak with. The decor and carpets seemed like they had been replaced since we last stayed there in July 2017. Our experience was so good that time (except for constant key issues) that we decided to try it again and were very pleased! 2 issues in the room were the closet door was off the track so hard to open and close and there was an unknown pinkish stain on the inside of the shower curtain at the side closest to the faucet. These were reported upon checkout. Hoping to try other Fairfield Inns next time we travel.

Was in town for a wedding. The stay at your hotel was great

When my husband and I moved to the area we stayed at the Fairfield. Had an amazing experience from low noise level to customer service. We did have to stay longer then expected and for the cost it was a great value for the money. So when we needed a meeting room they were the first to come to mind. From scheduling the room to the day of, they went above the call of duty! We did do some calling around on prices and they were the cheapest and the friendliest by far. When we got there to set up the lady at the front desk came out and helped carry things in. Not even 2 mins later a gentlemen came to see if we needed anything (thinking he was management of some type ) turns out he was the maintenance man! Every member of the hotel staff was very helpful. Even the cleaning staff that had nothing to do with us, answered questions we had with a smile on their face. When our guests arrived the staff was very welcoming and warm to each one. They would comment that most hotels has those areas like public restrooms for example that aren't always cleaned the best or rust etc all over. Not this hotel! You can tell they all take pride in their jobs. You don't see that very often anymore. Hands down this is a hotel that I would HIGHLY Recommend to stay or have a meeting in.
